A few months ago, I added a link with a questionnaire to my Twitter caption to 1) help prospects out with the recruiting process and answer any questions they have. 2) to give athletes exposure that filled out the questionnaire for future write ups. We are breaking this series down by each state that filled it out starting with Minnesota. - Timmy plays the linebacker spot with some well-seen instincts when it comes down to using his downhill motor and vision-I especially liked his finding ability on his first clip against a wing-T offense which can sometimes be difficult to gauge who has the football.
- He also possesses the ideal stance I look for when evaluating linebackers and he doesn’t just look the part, as Timmy shows off a LB prospect that can engage from sideline to sideline with a plethora of physicality in his wheelhouse.
- You can tell that his football IQ is loaded up, as I always am intrigued even more by linebackers that use their read steps early like they know exactly where the ball is going. Timmy is also a high academic prospect with a 3.84 GPA and certainly looks like a LB prospect at 6’1 220 pounds that will play on Saturdays as he will be one to watch this summer at Midwest prospect camps college coaches.

- With as much as I have evaluated Jacob over the last year or more, you would think he’s an upperclassmen, but man based on the outstanding character this young man in-person, he he sure acts like one.
- Jacob is another LB prospect on this list that locks me in on tape yet again with those twitchy read steps he uses at middle linebacker. It gets even better too, as Jacob has not just a big motor but a long-striding burst off the snap to get in the backfield super quickly.
- The accelerator this young man has at 6’3 210 pounds can cover quite the distance as Jacob is a textbook tackler also with his contact level. He also has that “find” instinct I look for when evaluating linebackers.
- Although he has two years left to go with the Crimson, I not only believe Jacob will play at the next level but my eyes see a fit at the Division I level. He has nearly a 4.0 GPA as well, so he certainly has his academics in order too.

- Ben shows off an elusive RB prospect that if you give him an inch on those outside lanes of the football field, your defense might pay the price. He has very smooth burst with longer strides that his measurables will give him credit for at 5’10 175 pounds.
- I also like Ben’s durability off initial contact, as he looks like a ball player that will put up a fight with a linebacker trying to get every yard he can get for his Sabers offense.
- His biggest development in my eyes is his agility. He certainly has the speed no doubt, but developing his balance with his footwork when he changes direction will only help him grow into his senior season. Ben is another high academic next-level prospect on our first list of Twitter Mania, with a 3.7 GPA and is looking for a strong engineering program at the next level.

- I am sure there are not a ton of sophomore captains in Minnesota such as Minneapolis Washburn OL Yahya Yusuf Yahya Yusuf 6’3″ | 260 lbs | OL Washburn | 2025 State MN , who from a character standpoint, would check all my boxes if I was a college coach as a excellent locker room guy.
- I’ll keep this bullet short, because I have already touched on it recently, but I was very impressed with the frame Yahya came into our most recent Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase with as he certainly has worked his tail off in the weight room in the offseason developing his 6’2 260 pound frame and it certainly shows off on tape.
- Yahya’s first clip of his sophomore tape, drives the defensive tackle into the next area code with all the great leverage and pad-level he gets from the jump.
- If you want a OL/Center prospect that will always block until the job is finished or when the whistle blows, you can bet Yahya will be your O Linemen to do so. Certainly a Saturday’s prospect in my eyes. Yahya has fantastic grades too, with a 4.0 GPA.

- The quick trigger Luke brings from my first look at his tape shows off quick change of direction as an athlete that also brings that knock-back physicality level in his 6’4 195 pound frame, that might I add, looks over towering and bigger on tape that what his measurables show off.
- I love Luke’s awareness on special teams as well. On the first ST play on tape, he shows off the excellent positioning in front of his ball carrier to set the tone to lock into a prime contact level that the opposing special teams unit is not going to want to face when he squares up.
- I was anxiously awaiting to see on tape when Luke showed off his vertical, and holy cow can this kid fly high in the air.
- Because he’s an athlete at the moment, I believe Luke’s next-level position places him as a hybrid WR/TE. We stated that he has the vertical we like, but he also has a wired in long catch radius. He could be an extremely athletic tight end if you add some weight on him (25-30) but if it was me, I would flex him out in either spot. I believe Luke would an excellent FCS fit, who currently has a 4.07 GPA.

- Charlie pops out on my first look at his tape with just how mobile this young man is and you can tell is surely comfortable swiftly throwing from the run, as he has a fluid touch in his quick release that can fit the ball in some very tight windows.
- Charlie also has quite the significant electricity with his arm strength as you can depend on his throws on all three levels of the field as he has that precise touch that allow his WRs to grab and go as they advance up field.
- I also love Charlie’s smoothness level within his touch ball on intermediate routes as this young man is a certified gamer that will trend very highly in my opinion at Midwest prospect camps.
