<p>Bunkers helped Remsen St. Mary's score another state title, while Hough was a do-it-all-type for GTRA.</p>

<p>Here is a look at the top linebackers from eight-player:</p>

<p><strong>First Team - [player_tooltip player_id='152618' first='Jaxon' last='Bunkers'] - Remsen St. Mary's - Senior</strong></p>

<p>Despite not playing many complete games because of the score, [player_tooltip player_id='152618' first='Jaxon' last='Bunkers'] made an impact throughout each week. He recorded a team-leading 62.5 tackles with 11 for loss and three sacks, while also recovering five fumbles and picking off four passes.</p>

<p>Of those nine forced turnovers, Bunkers returned five for touchdowns. He showed those same skills on offense, catching 22 passes for 374 yards and six scores, rushing 14 times for 97 yards and five TDs, and completing two passes.</p>

<p><strong>Second Team - Max Hough - GTRA - Senior</strong></p>

<p>Behind Max Hough, GTRA flourished, reaching the playoffs as he racked up 82.5 tackles with 8.5 for loss and 46 solo stops. Hough also had four interceptions - highlighted by a pick-6 - and recovered a fumble.</p>

<p>On special teams, he averaged 31 yards per kickoff return and took three of the 11 returns he had back for scores. And on offense, Hough ran for 2,140 yards with 28 TDs, threw for 14,63 with 18 and even caught two passes - including another score.</p>

<p><strong>Third Team - [player_tooltip player_id='320702' first='Drew' last='Diers'] - WACO - Senior</strong></p>

<p>The third-leading tackler in eight-player, [player_tooltip player_id='320702' first='Drew' last='Diers'] finished his senior season with 108 stops. A total of 74 of those were solos, with 13.5 coming for loss. </p>

<p><strong>Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='152874' first='Sage' last='Evans'] of West Harrison had eye-popping stats, including 121 tackles and 6.5 sacks, while Logan Evans of Mormon Trail wasn't far behind. [player_tooltip player_id='156461' first='Cam' last='Buffington'] of Winfield-Mt Union, [player_tooltip player_id='320502' first='Ryan' last='Stortenbecker'] of East Mills and Paxten VanHousten of Fremont-Mills were also worthy candidates here.</p>
