The WI HS football players have been back in the lab preparing themselves to dominate the gridiron this fall. Things are off to a great start with PRs being set, unbelievable numbers being recorded, and GREAT form being used. Athletes will learn a lot during their time in the weight room. With the end of the month here, I want to highlight several of the best lifts that I saw throughout the month. Get hyped, and let’s dive into some heavy lifts!
Carter is one of the most powerful athletes who will be returning to the football field this coming fall. Look at the squat linked below! 545 lbs while weighing 210- 215 lbs. A smooth ride down to parallel, and just as smooth on the way up. Christy is a great follow for other athletes when it comes to lifting. You can always count on him using great form, and putting up insane numbers. Carter also added a 365 lbs bench press later in the month. When I grow up I want to be as strong as Carter Christy Carter Christy 6’0″ | 215 lbs | LB Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln | 2024 State WI .

The sky is blue, grass is green, and the top student athletes at Kimberly HS are putting up INSANE numbers in the weight room! The craziest lift I saw coming out of the Kimberly House of Gainz this month was from standout DE/OLB Sam McGivern Sam McGivern 6’2″ | 245 lbs | DL Kimberly | 2024 State WI . Sam pressed an unbelievable 405 lbs at 16 years old. I can’t wait to see what he does to opposing OL this fall.

Fond du Lac has been one of my favorite offseason follows. They do a great job of highlighting their athletes in the weight room. Their record keeping, and breaking, is fun for us to watch and gives their kids goals to chase. Tanner Dalske Tanner Dalske 6’0″ | 200 lbs | RB Fond du Lac | 2024 State WI chased down one of those goals this month when he broke the 175-200 lbs weight class squat record with a dominant 525 lbs lift! What a rep for the young man. Hit depth, fought it all the way up without letting his form break down. It had me screaming at my computer screen along with his teammates. Great lift!
One of the hardest working athletes over teh past couple offseasons is sophomore Carson Fletcher Carson Fletcher 5’10” | 200 lbs | ATH Racine Horlick | 2025 State WI out of Racine Horlick High School. It has translated to the field for the LB as he has been a key contributor on the field since he was a freshman. This month’s most impressive lift is from a tweet today where he gripped and ripped a 285 lbs power clean. Power clean is one of the most difficult lifts to perform in general, and the underclassman is well on his way to doing it with three plates a side. I can’t wait to see what he looks like this fall, and beyond. He is going to be a problem.

Carson is a hard running ball carrier on the field, and this offseason we have gotten a look into where that power comes from. He recently hit a 475 lbs squat, and on the 14th hit the lift in the video below. Bilitz took 225 lbs for a ride to the tune of 15 reps. We are going to see athletes at the NFL combine this week not hit that number. Carson made it look like a warm up. Expect big numbers, and a lot of broken tackles from his this fall.
Jackson has been a fun offseason follow for the past two offseasons now. It is clear that he puts in the time and effort to get himself in position to be an impact player on Friday nights. This month he managed to turn off gravity long enough to pull a 530 lbs deadlift PR. The underclassman did it with teaching tape quality form too.

Sam just posted his February maxes today in the tweet below. The sophomore is at a great place in his training, and watching the lifts you can see the form is excellent. The squat PR is insane! Talk about making it look. The 2025 OL smashed parallel, and brought the 425 lbs up with ease. I’m excited to see how explosive he is this fall because he is looking explosive in the gym.
