Crowe had a breakout year that definitely turned some heads. Crowe was causing havoc when he was on the field and caused 6 fumbles on the year. Crowe has atone of speed and he uses that speed to meet the ball carrier in the backfield. Crowe was living in the backfield this year with 26 TFL and had 14.5 sacks on the year. Crowe can beat you with speed and changes it up on occasion using his physicality to strip the ball away. When you watch the tape you see that Crowe is a hustle player running the ball carrier down. Crowe will look to build upon this year and should head into next year with a lot of eyes if he is able to improve on his numbers from this year.
Highlights
Asher Isaacson
Asher Isaacson
Isaacson had a solid season and was making his presence known affecting the quarterback and making tackles in the backfield. Isaacson was able to bring the quarterback down 7 times this year and was able to hurry the QB on 11 of his pressures. Isaacson is athletic and uses his speed to beat his opponent. Isaacson was flying around the field this year swarming to the ball and was in on a lot of group tackles. Isaacson will look to grow on offense and make a bigger impact for his team this year and form into a two-way player.
Jace Filleman
Jace Filleman
Filleman is a player that can play inside or out on the edge. When he is inside he plays with power bull rushing and mixing in swim moves with rips on occasion. Filleman has speed and makes it hard on the guards when he puts them in tough positions. When he is on the edge he bends the edge and gets to the quarter back. He is really good at mixing it up and keeping his opponent guessing. Filleman finished the season with 6 sacks and really puts pressure on the quarterback having 27 hurries. Filleman is also a long snapper and makes plays when he is on special teams as well. If Filleman can build on this season I think he will be in a lot of discussions as one of the best DE in this class and when you turn on the tape he definitely stands out.
Brett Haile
Brett Haile
When you watch the tape Haile is good with his hands and has the intangibles that you look for. Haile is constantly getting good hand placement and getting extension, either disengaging or driving the opponent back and knocking them into the play. Haile finished the year with 4.5 sacks also tallying 30 total tackles as well. Haile is good against the run and has a knack for being around the ball. Haile sticks with the play, even when he gets pushed passed the ball he fights to get back into the tackle. Against Rocky Mountain he showed versatility dropping back into coverage and making the tackle downfield.
Francisco Pacheco
Francisco Pacheco
Pacheco is a player that can over power his opponent and stuff the running game. Pacheco finished the year with 4 sacks and 30 total tackles. In a game against Discovery Canyon Pacheco showed his strength when he drove the lineman 5 yards into the backfield and tackled the player coming on an end around. Pacheco isn’t going to wow you with his speed but he can get after it and he shows the ability to clog up the middle stuffing the run. Watching the tape with his size and strength he can play on the edge but I think he could be a true run stopper if moved to the inside.
