Maverick Geske Maverick Geske 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Brebeuf Jesuit | 2025 State IN – Brebeuf Jesuit – QB – 6’0″ 180lbs
Geske is a fun one to watch with his poise in the pocket. That’s the first thing that stands out is his natural comfort-ability in the pocket. Even when pressure gets to him, he’s able to stay cool and collected and either step up or take to pick up a few yards on the ground. Pre-snap he takes a few seconds to get a good look at the defense and make a potential pre-snap read. While there are times he tends to lock on to a guy a bit longer than he should, it’s not very often. Geske is as lethal as they come when dealing over the middle. His throwing motion is quick, natural, and has a gunslinger type feel to it. On routes to the outside, he’s able to throw with anticipation sometimes and let it loose before the receiver comes out of his break. He’s young, knows where his guys are supposed to be, and improved quite a bit as the year went on. His 22 TDs in the 11 games played is very promising, especially with how he looked. Geske is someone I can see really flourishing and taking off this fall and putting his name up there with the best of the best.

Drew Fleek – Woodlan – RB – 6’0″ 190lbs
Fleek bust onto the scene this past fall and you can fully expect him to do it again moving forward. He’s a downhill runner who finds the lane, sticks his foot in the ground, and gets up hill. He’s got some power behind his pads and is able to make a hitstick type move from time to time. If not, he’s got the speed to get around the corner on some DBs. He has really long strides and eats up more ground than they anticipate until he’s by them. While he’s not the most shifty back on earth and can run a bit high with his pads, but overall he’s got a plethora of talent that he’s been able to showcase. 1034-yards on the ground to go with his 11 TDs was a perfect example of what this young man can do on the field with the ball in his hands. In short, Fleek is a dynamic back with 2 seasons left to develop and continue hitting the weight room before his time comes, and when it does, and if he keeps playing at this level, he’ll be a name you hear on the regular.

Novell Miller Novell Miller 5'10" | 210 lbs | RB Mishawaka | 2025 State IN – Mishawaka – RB – 5’10” 210lbs
Miller is a speedy back who can fly with the best of them. He gets to that elite speed almost immediately. His acceleration truly is something unique. With how he gets the ball and hits the hole, sometimes he’s already out the backdoor before the defenders realize it. He’s very reactionary and has the elite vision you want to see. Mishawaka does run a triple-threat offense so he will have a ton of carries when he comes out. He’ll likely need work in the passing game and blitz pickup when he gets to the next level, but not his fault. Miller does what this offense tells him to do, and does it at a high level. He totes the rock and gets into the endzone. His 13 TDs on the year were really promising simply because of how they came. Most of them came from Miller being a play maker and making something happen. Finding room, a cutback lane, making someone miss, you name it and he’s likely done it. He’s fun, he really is. It’s like he’s shot out of a cannon and the defenders are told to react. Miller is someone I really like to have his first 1000-yard season next year along with cementing his name as an elite back in the state.

Carson Tells Carson Tells 6'0" | 250 lbs | OL Ben Davis | 2025 State IN – Ben Davis – OL – 6’0″ 250lbs
Tells is an intriguing offensive lineman coming right down the pipe for Ben Davis who looks good wherever he gets his chance. He’s played Varsity and JV. He’s played both interior and exterior parts of the line. Whether it be Tackle or Guard, Tells has had success everywhere on the line. While he does have a tendency to give up his inside, he cleaned it up over the second half of the season and then still has 2 more years. He was recently at the WeOutHereIndy camp where I heard and saw great things. I wasn’t there, but he left as a top performer and had some good clips come from that. He’s continuously working and improving his craft. Even from the season’s end, the difference is noticeable and he’s doing everything he should be. I anticipate him finding his groove over the next few years and turning into a steady piece for the line Ben Davis. He’s a worker, and that will come through most of all and make him successful.

Jev Hutton Jev Hutton 6'2" | 215 lbs | DL Fishers | 2025 State IN – Fishers – LB/DE – 6’2″ 210lbs
Hutton is an upcoming defender who has looked really good on JV over the past few years. He’s versatile and has given them someone they can move around a bit. Hutton will line up on the edge of the line and rush the passer, line up as a LB in the second level, and he’s even lined up over a WR a few times and held his own, even snagging an interception of his own. He’s got a fairly lengthy, yet raw, frame that seems like it could really blow up. With his length and explosion off the line towards the ball, I imagine schools will want him harassing QBs when the time comes. He’s shown a really nice ability to get underneath and around the tackle when they are setting up against the pass if they don’t get deep enough. There’s no doubt that Hutton is a bit raw across the board, but he’s a smooth operator with a ton of athletic ability and potential with everything he can offer. If he dominates the weight room this summer and picks up where he left off on the field last year, Hutton will blow up in recruiting.
