With over 50 new additions ranked between 100-200 we definitely need to mention a few names that you should know going into their senior seasons. Some of these guys are their team leading playmakers who look to showcase their top talent again while some are players who shine in limited roles against top competition and our ready to showcase what they can do with more volume. Take a look at some of the New Additions ranked between 100-200 below.
Nasir Patton Nasir Patton 6’1″ | 175 lbs | ATH Rush-Henrietta | 2024 State NY has elite speed and the ATH for Rush-Henrietta is one of the most dangerous playmakers returning to Section V. Patton is a huge threat as a returner and as a receiver can make an impact at every level of the field. Patton tracks the ball really well on deep throws. Patton is a smooth athlete and his well-rounded skillset at the receiver position makes him one of the most compete route-runners in the class. Patton has some experience and the athleticism to play as a defensive back but his tape shows that he will serve best as an offensive and special teams weapon.

James McNeil James McNeil 6’2″ | 200 lbs | RB Bishop Timon-St. Jude | 2024 State NY already has quite the resume for a Junior. This past season McNeil was the player of the year in the Catholic B division in Buffalo and has won both freshman and player of the year in rugby. McNeil is a very physical runner and his ability to bounce of tackles while maintaining speed and his explosiveness is special. McNeil does a great job of using his physical upper body and stiff-arm to keep defenders away from his hips and does a great job of using only one or two cuts to get upfield. McNeil is also really good linung up as a receiver on the outside or in the slot where he can be a threat to create yards after the catch in open space.
Fabian Rhoden Fabian Rhoden 6’0″ | 235 lbs | DL Newburgh | 2024 State NY is a powerful and physical defensive end that can win against bigger blockers on the inside with quickness but still has the power to bull rush and move tackles. Rhoden is very quick off the snap and has the closing speed that make him a really good finisher on the QB and in the running game. One of Rhoden’s best traits is his awareness and discipline where his ability to perform his responsibilities and read screen plays or reverses and counters is impressive. Rhoden is very impactful as both a run defender and pass rusher and his ability to line up on either side as far in as a 3-tech defensive tackle out to a wider 7-tech show his versatility.
Sam Pucci Sam Pucci 6’3″ | 180 lbs | WR Fairport | 2024 State NY is a long lean outside receiver who has one of the best deep threats in New York. Pucci is a really solid deep route runner who has a smooth release that allows him to win at the LOS. Pucci does a great job of tracking the ball deep and making the catch in stride. Pucci’s ability to high point the football and attack the ball at its catch point is one of this best traits. Pucci is also a true hands catcher and has a very wide catch radius. Pucci’s is also a solid at generating solid yards after the catch, his long strides and speed help him gain the edge and add large chucks of yards to his catches.

Kemauri Perry Kemauri Perry 6’2″ | 185 lbs | RB Auburn | 2024 State NY is one of the best physically built running backs in New York. At 6-2, and a very defined 185lbs Perry has that combination of speed, strength, and size that coaches covet. Perry has great balance through contact and his ability to run through arm tackles at the LOS make him a threat to break big plays on any down. Perry often drags defenders multiple yards down the field and takes multiple defenders to get him down. Perry also has really solid vision through the hole and is able to find the best running lanes at the second and third levels.

Isaiah Ballard Isaiah Ballard 6’1″ | 210 lbs | DL Irondequoit | 2024 State NY is a physical lineman who is able to impact the game in a number of ways. Ballard does a great job of using violent hands. Ballard has the speed to win around the edge and is a really solid finisher on the Quarterback. With quick hands and great strength Ballard is a really tough matchup for most offensive lineman. Ballard shows some versatility in where he lines up on both sides of the ball and can be a stand up player or effective from a three point stance. On offense Ballard is a really solid tight end who has reliable hands. Ballard is a really tough TE to bring down and is a threat to gain extra yards after the catch. Ballard also is a solid route runner who understands where open spaces in zone coverages are. Ballard also is a really solid blocker who can make blocks in space or at the LOS.
Tristan Johnson Tristan Johnson 6’3″ | 175 lbs | WR Cicero North Syracuse | 2024 State NY is a very well-rounded receiver who has elite length and very reliable hands. Johnson is a really good runner who runs a complete route tree. Johnson is really solid at beating press coverage with a solid release and his long frame showcases a large catch radius. Johnson does a really good job of getting the ball secured and getting upfield for extra yards. Johnson’s best plays come on in-breaking routes where he uses his size to create leverage on defenders making him very tough to guard. Johnson is also really good at adjusting his routes when the QB is forced to improvise out of the pocket and does a great job of understanding where the open space available is.
Highlights
Kynan Ulanga II is a really solid coverage corner who plays a ton from the slot but also snaps from the box and as a safety. Ulanga has great instincts and lets his eyes read through plays when lined up at safety. In coverage, Ulanga does his best work when lined up in press-man coverage where his quickness and ability to stick with receivers in-stride make him very tough to beat. Ulanga is also very physical and willing to make tackles at all three levels of the defense. All of our defensive backs are grouped into one position but Ulanga is easily one of the top slot cornerbacks in New York.
Highlights
John Harding John Harding 5’9″ | 175 lbs | RB McQuaid | 2024 State NY was one of the most dangerous playmakers with the ball in his hands in New York. With over 2,000 all-purpose yards and 25 TDs Harding was always making plays. Primarily lining up in the backfield Harding has incredible patience and explosiveness. Harding has great vision where he can see holes develop and hit them right as they open. Harding also has success lining up as a receiver where he does a great job of utilizing his speed to win on routes but also after catch. Harding does a great job of fighting through arm tackles and his is super slippery around the line of scrimmage where his ability to make quick cuts keeps up upright.
Troy Worrell Troy Worrell 5’8″ | 160 lbs | WR Williston North Hampton | 2025 NewE is one of the twitchy quick athletes that are so hard to bring down. Worrell did not see a ton of action behind some really talented receivers at Archbishop Stepinac but with two of their top receiver graduating Worrell will get to showcase his unique skillset with more volume. Worrell is a really solid route runner especially in the short area of the field, a staple of the Stepinac offense. Worrell has that quick one-cut ability to make defenders miss in open space and his ability to reaccelerate to his top speed is what makes him very tough to bring down. Worrell uses this type of twitchiness to win on routes down the field to where he is a nightmare for slot corners and safeties to defend.
