2024 Hot Bed: Oak Creek

Today, I want to begin a series where I go from school to school looking into those deep collections of talents. These hot beds for 2024 recruiting are going to be destinations that college coaches have hit, and are going to want to continue to build a relationship with. Drew is an FBS level talent. He has a great feel for the ILB position. He flows quickly making it extremely difficult for linemen to get to him to cut him off. His quick twitch allows him to slice through the traffic between the tackles and make tackles. Braam has the sideline to sideline range needed to stop the play at the line of scrimmage inside or outside the box. Drew has proven he can play out in space too. He is able to run with RBs in the passing game and stick with them throughout the route. It looks effortless for him. He isn't just an athletic prospect. He also has devastating power. In the run game Hodge has had success in zone style blocking where he can run laterally. In pass protection, Brock is at his best when he can use his stoutness to stuff bull rushers. He has the best footwork I saw in the Class of 2024 here in WI. Cade also has a strong arm. An arm that can get the ball to any spot on the field with velocity. Lastly, Cade has great control over the ball. Despite being undersized, Palkowski is one of the top prospects in the state. Phelps was one of the biggest risers during the 2024 Update. I became a big fan of his play style. The 6' 180 lbs RB runs with power and balance allowing him to set the tone between the tackles. He plays behind the pads consistently, yet he also brings the athleticism needed to play the position at the next level. When he gets out in space Jackson can beat pursuit angles. The cornerback is aggressive at the catch point. He is able to create  disruption to break up passes without drawing penalties. Jayden has solid speed overall and can recover if initially beat. Bryant does a good job of keeping the ball in front of him, and he is a soli tackler out in space.
