In our final 2023 PRZ Rankings, here is Part. I where we will dive into some of the top newly added offensive lineman in this class. All of these prospects have next level abilities at the D-III+ level, with some already signed and some looking to ink to their respective colleges today during the second and final NSD.
Campbell is one of the better offensive line prospects in the state and very athletic for the position that should excel at the FCS level. He is currently committed to Southern Utah and pledged to them back in the summer of 2022. At 6’5″ and change, he has a huge frame and will only continue to add weight and mass as he goes through his collegiate career for the Thunderbirds. Cracking our rankings on the offensive side of the ball, he is a prospect that could play on either side of the ball in college and make a big impact either out on the edge or as a twitchy inside pass rusher.
Emery is a big framed kid that moves well for his size, shows active feet and a solid base while excelling in pass protection against speed and power rushers. He is violent at the POA with a strong initial punch while able to get off the ball quickly and sustain blocks through the second level. Offering some position versatility at the next level, he can play either guard or tackle and cracks our rankings as a top 18 offensive lineman across the region. He has already signed his NLI to Southern Utah and should be able to make a solid impact at the FCS level.
Williams is a very long, athletic and violent player at the tackle position and has the frame to pack on more weight throughout his career once he gets to the next level. A very athletic blocker that moves well, pops out of his stance and is violent at the POA, he shows he can pull and block in space, takes good angles to defenders and drives his feet through contact finishing downfield with nasty intentions. In pass protection, he is patient and difficult to counter on while able to use his length to keep defenders away from his chest and when continuing to kick out while showing well timed punches and a strong anchor. He is a no brainer next level kid that holds upside due to so much untapped potential and physical attributes. He cracks our rankings as a top 20 offensive lineman and will most likely end up at the Division I level by the time it’s all said and done.
Cagle deservingly makes it into our rankings this time around and has a chance to be a next level college player on the interior offensive line. Although a bit undersized, he is an athletic tackle with good feet and a strong base, violent at the POA while not afraid to finish blocks at the first level and has a strong lower body. He does a nice job sustaining blocks once he gets his hands on defenders with inside leverage, and will only continue to work on pad level as he progresses through college. A no brainer D-III caliber kid with good grades, he could be a small school steal due to his athleticism and finish.
