I recently found [player_tooltip player_id='558222' first='Ivan' last='Bailey-Greene']'s tape and instantly ranked him inside the top 250 of his class. That's an early grade that could grow into a future Division One grade. Yet I was told that Flint still impressed Carl Frederick. Flint might've been the best prospect at the event, at least in rank. Kiersch has three-down linebacker potential, he shows a strong ability to play downhill against the run but can also play coverage against tight ends if needed."</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Was told that Pond was very close to winning MVP for his positional group, something I would have loved to see happen. [player_tooltip player_id='251458' first='Gavin' last='Pond'] ends up a top performer nonetheless. Worth noting how impressive the LB/ATH moved in Shuttle drills. Pond registered a 4.19 Shuttle, earning the best time of any prospect at the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>"Pond is a linebacker that we are increasingly high on. He's got a combination of great size and athleticism. He ran a 4.74 forty-yard dash one of the highest of all our linebackers and recorded a broad jump of 9.4 in the process. On the field, that athleticism translates well, and is an all-around linebacker."</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='606417' first='Zander' last='Coleman'] and Nicanor Andrada Jr. both earned top-performer honors out of Dylan Callaghan-Croley. Both are unranked prospects who have earned a future ranking based on their performances in this camp alone. Coleman boasts a desirable frame, Andrada's motor is his calling card. Quality athleticism, fluid hips, and solid agility is how you would best describe Coleman as a player. Jones will more than likely represent DB as a top tester as well. Great size, willing to get physical. Here's what my eval said about him, the ones I gave out to the coaches present. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>"Five games under his belt this past Fall. A frequent camper that I'm fond of. 6'1 corner. Love his attitude at the position, could be a sleeper to be a Top Performing DB. Outside-the-numbers corner who plays butt-to-the-sideline. Kicked inside to slot occasionally, playing outside-breaking routes well displaying real closing speed. On top of that, [player_tooltip player_id='402465' first='Simaj' last='Hill'], [player_tooltip player_id='386298' first='Justus' last='Gaskin'], and [player_tooltip player_id='255081' first='Dymere' last='Durham'] are all underclassmen to boot. [player_tooltip player_id='402465' first='Simaj' last='Hill'] looked great in Indi's. Smooth transitioner, and an awesome build that caught my eye immediately. [player_tooltip player_id='386298' first='Justus' last='Gaskin'] might not have the ideal size at DB, yet he still performed well in one-on-ones. Nothing impresses me more than a slight corner who isn't deterred by physicality or taller wideouts. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='255081' first='Dymere' last='Durham'] might've taken the top spot for most impressive 1-on-1 defensive back. Technically sound. Great hands in pretty much every rep. Shoots his hands well at the LOS, you won't release off the line without feeling his presence. Handsy and annoying at the catch point too. Durham can get under your skin.
