These young men all received playing time as freshmen at the varsity level in 2022 and play well. They are most certainly still growing and developing, but have flashed a ton of potential for the next level. Their growth as a player over the next three seasons will be crucial for their recruitment. With that being said, here’s who to watch for this off-season. Luk Boman Luk Boman 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB Clarkston | 2026 MI , 5’11” 180, Clarkston
- Smooth change of direction in traffic.
- Is a physical presence that looks to impose his will as a blocker.
- Plenty of turnover on his knee drive.
- Look for his workload as a ball carrier to skyrocket in 2023.
Jayden Terry Jayden Terry 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB Grandville | 2026 State MI , 5’8″ 165, Grandville
- A well-oiled machine as a runner between the tackles.
- Quite slippery in tight quarters.
- Reads blocks well and will bounce a run if a defensive end gets nosey.
- Has a durable lower half that allows him to drag tacklers with him.
- Is a smaller back, but is as tough as they come.
Kory Amachree Kory Amachree 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Haslett | 2026 State MI , 6′ 195, Haslett
- Terrific burst and acceleration after the catch.
- A playmaker with the ball in his hands.
- His short area quickness allows for an abundance of cutback opportunities.
- A strong runner who bursts through arm tackles relatively easily.
- Can create separation at the top of his route with head fakes and body lean.
Amir Morelan Amir Morelan 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH Port Huron Northern | 2026 State MI , 5’11” 170, Port Huron Northern
- Shows quick feet and active hands against press coverage.
- Has impressive vision to spot smaller cutback lanes.
- Proved that he can hawk down ball carriers on the defensive side using great build-up speed.
- Sets up blocks well as a return man before kicking in the ignition.
- Breaks through the target in man coverage.
Jacob Schorfhaar Jacob Schorfhaar 6'3" | 205 lbs | TE DeWitt | 2026 State MI , 6’3″ 205, DeWitt
- Has a projectable frame for the next level.
- Quite flexible and plays with good bend & forward body lean as a blocker.
- Hand and body placement allows for him to win on down blocks.
- Has the body control to secure key second-level blocks.
Lelend Hollingsworth, 5’9″ 165, Renaissance
- A downright nasty perimeter blocker.
- Stays over the top of route concepts in zone.
- Shows excellent instincts to go with tight footwork.
- A special teams ace who can give his opponent awful starting field position.
