Cam Chapa
Cam Chapa
Chapa leads this group with the most interceptions with 6 and is a player with a lot of speed. Chapa is great at high pointing the ball out jumping the receiver to the ball. He uses his speed to be able to undercut routes as well, using his instincts to jump the route. Chapa has good vision, he comes up and can make the tackle in open space even making plays in the backfield when players try to bounce it to the outside. Chapa is a player that should take a big step this year and be one of the top players at his position.
Giles-Ray is a player that is all over the field and constantly is coming downhill making plays. He has good hands which you can see when he reads the ball and high points it to get some of his interceptions. Giles-Ray has a breakout sophomore year with 5 interceptions. He makes good reads and is good at tackling in the open field. Giles-Ray has plenty of plays where he saves the touchdown, meeting the defender in the hole and making the big play.

Kylan Studebaker
Kylan Studebaker
Studebacker does a good job of getting hands on and redirecting the receivers. He has good vision when looking at his keys in coverage reading through the number one receiver to either number two or to the quarterback. I think he will gain some confidence this offseason that will help him play quicker and looser. He is a corner that can open up his hips and run with the receiver which he has the speed to play over top as well. Will look for him to take advantage of opportunities that come his way as many teams picked other matchups.
Knapke has shown the ability to be good in coverage and come up making plays against the run. He shows that big play ability as a returner being able to setup blocks and having multiple big plays in the return game. Knapke is good at getting to the ball and has a knack for getting turnovers punching the ball out and getting picks. He is good at being able to shed blocks and get to the ball. He finished with 4 interceptions on the year and was able to return one to the house.

Jalen Clark
Jalen Clark
With Clark’s size and playing style he would be better at corner at the next level. With that being said Clark was able to come up with 3 interceptions on the year. Clark is a player that does well in man coverage vs being in zone, being asked to play overtop on receivers. Clark has good instinctual reactions when he is in coverage and can open his hips and run with the receivers. Would like to see him come up and make more tackles in space but I do see him more as a cover safety or nickel corner.
