A standout performance at a NEXTGEN regional earns you qualification for The Show, an invite-only, best-of-the-best camp held at a later date, and I was welcomed with open arms by Brent Williams and Camp Director Armani Reeves to scout Florida talent at the middle & high school levels. It was a great time, and I came away impressed with players from every position on the gridiron and from four graduating classes, giving our PRzFL site and PrepRedzoneNEXT some compelling new and in-person content over the next couple of days. We’ll kick things off with the monsters in the trenches, as lineman of all ages participated in the first session of the two-part camp on Sunday, but make sure to stay posted for Top Overall Performers, group and positional breakdowns, and an All-Freshman Team feature. Thanks again to Brent and Armani for having me. Let’s get to it!

Offensive Line
#414: Gabriel Osenda Gabriel Osenda 6'7" | 305 lbs | OL Clearwater Academy International | 2026 FL (George McDougall High School, AB) 2025. 6’5, 285 lbs. @gabriel_osenda
An immediate eye-catcher who I noticed during warm-ups of the initial session of Sunday’s NEXTGEN thanks to his legit 6’5 height, a lean but sturdy frame capable of handling more weight, and flexibility and functional movement skills while going through a variety of calisthenics. Osenda came down to sunny Florida from snowy Alberta, Canada, and despite the 2025 graduating year Osenda told me that he’d be a 2026er if he was playing football in the states. Although he still needs to add some strength, he had a strong base and was experienced in pass pro drops and sets and could handle speed rushers with his athleticism and power moves if he was able to set and get his base under him correctly. Definitely an athletic, high-potential body.
#411: Marcus Ferrer Marcus Ferrer 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL FL (Osceola) 2026. 6’6, 290 lbs. @ik__marcus
A young buck who took some lumps throughout 1-on-1s, Osceola freshman tackle Ferrer sports an eye-popping build and put out some good reps when he was able to get his hands inside on his opponent. Still has a ways to go but is a naturally big, strong kid with a lot of high school ball left in front of him while getting developed at a heavyweight program in Kissimmee.
#415: Tyler Cline (Trinity Christian Academy) 2024. 6’3, 275 lbs.
The Jacksonville product and rising senior Cline was perfectly built for the interior offensive line and holds wide shoulders and a thick, compact, powerful build with a powerful punch behind it. Was a top performer from the OL group with strength and lateral agility who did a good job of staying engaged with opponents once he got some hands on.
#417: Brandon Rosa (Osceola) 2024. 6’1, 285 lbs. @Brandonjrosa
Another top performer who impressed me in his consistency and physical dominance at the point of attack, Osceola rising senior iOL was a brick wall against all types of rushes and rushers and possessed ample strength and a powerful base. Rosa kept his technique solid, never lunged, and patiently but quickly set and allowed DTs to come to him. Tons to like and Rosa earned an invite to The Show from his notable performance.
#408: Antonio Cruz (Osceola) 2024. 6′, 275 lbs. @AntonioCruz_54
Yet another Kowboy who had a strong day at West Orange High School on Sunday, Antonio Cruz was playing Center and playing it well, catching my eye over the course of his days work, not just a couple reps. One of the harder workers in the group who seemed to fire up his fellow offensive lineman during his reps, Cruz was focused and competitive and displayed a ton of fight, active hands and feet, and a good base when he settled into a block. I liked watching him work and the rising senior also earned an invite to The Show by NEXTGEN.
#505: Alexander Smith (?) 2024.
Sadly, I didn’t catch the high school that Mr. Smith attends, and with his more common name I’m having a hard time tracking him down so I can’t get much information on the young man. However, Smith had a good day and possessed heavier hands than his peers and was physical and able to make defenders feel him and have to buckle down when they went against him. He had a good reps against good competition on Sunday at West Orange High School.
#319: Kyler Matthews (Ware County, GA) 2026. 6’3, 230 lbs. @KMatthews2026
Still a young buck, Matthews had a good day in Winter Garden and was particularly impressive in his pass set as OT. Clean vertical drop, consistent technique, and good timing in his punches helped him win more reps than lose. Fun freshman to watch out of the Peach State.
#503: Bryce Daniels Bryce Daniels 6'4" | 295 lbs | OL Keystone Heights | 2027 FL (Keystone Heights) 2027. 6’4, 285 lbs. @BryceDaniels_OL
Fantastic showing by the eighth grader. Legit 6’4, 285 lbs., solid flexibility for his size and age, and agile enough to adjust and react to quicker and speedier rushes coming from DTs and 3Ts. Also a nasty and natural finisher with good strength who could hang and even excel at the high school level.
#505: Chase Malamala (The Benjamin School) 2024. 6’6, 310 lbs.
There’s a reason FAU, Auburn, and Temple have recently offered the massive OT from Palm Beach Gardens. Offensive Line MVP and The Show invitee Malamala is experienced and powerful in pass protection with a good understanding of leverage and solid balance for his size. Long arms, can bend and anchor well at the point of contact, and can handle speed and/or power rushes. Most physically impressive and put together lineman at the event as well.
Defensive Line
#318: RoyMarr Thomas (Armwood) 2025. 6’3, 225 lbs. @RoymarrThomas
The big dog the defensive line group, Seffner product RoyMarr Thomas was fantastic in every phase of the NEXTGEN Regional stop in Orlando this past Sunday. Fluid and smooth in drills and individual positional periods, Thomas‘ footwork and balance stood out during bag work, and he easily transitioned to 1-on-1s, where he was a force and had his way with every opponent present. With an arsenal of pass rush moves at the top of the arch and the ability to transition from speed to power was too much for OTs to handle all morning/afternoon. Impressive showing by the underclassman.
#324: Zyon Nobles (Wharton) 2024. 6’4, 240 lbs. @Zyon_Nobles
Another Tampa-area standout, Nobles immediately caught my eye with his legit 6’4, 240 lb. build and mobility at his size during individual drills and coaching. Additionally, he was always at or near the front of the line no matter what the DL was working on, and of both lineman groups no one was more supportive, outwardly competitive, and locked in than Nobles. He also had a good showing during 1-on-1s and could overpower opponents at the point of attack. Nobles earned his ticket to The Show thanks to his performance on Sunday.
#409: Ean Johnson Kelley (Manatee) 2025. DT. 6′, 260 lbs. @EanJohnson_
The Bradenton product had a good day on the interior of the defensive line and was a good-lookin’ 6′, 260 lbs. with the strength to back up the iDL assignment. Johnson Kelley also showed some solid pass rushing ability and was nimble and quick for his size and position. He had a solid day at West Orange High School on Sunday.
#405: Braylon Smith (Gaither) 2025. 6′, 275 lbs. @trenchjunkie
The sophomore from Tampa came alive during 1-on-1s and had more than his fair share of reps and was a baller in pass rush settings. His get-off, hand placement, and power all helped him beat blocking attempts at the NEXTGEN Regional stop in Orlando. I could see him being very strong against the run as well.
#319: Jake Kreul (Bishop Moore) 2026. 6’2, 200 lbs.
What a performance from the young buck! An absolute terror on the edge and a top performer from the DL group, Kreul is young and still growing but has the frame to add a ton of weight and will soon grow out of the “undersized” category. Despite missing some mass, Kreul was outstanding during the 1-on-1 portion of the event, with an explosive first step, bend, length, quickness, and the ability to adjust to OTs pass sets and blocking attempts. He was too fast and too athletic for just about every OT at the event to handle. Very bright future for the Bishop Moore freshman, especially if he can continue to add weight and strength.
