I was locked in to the 15U division and will have several team reports, featuring their top performers this week. We’re continuing the coverage today with a look at the Outlawz National squad, made up of standouts from the New England area and Florida.
We covered the Outlawz last week in one of our preview features and some of their top players lived up to the hype. All three players featured here were part of our preview last week. All three played outstanding football throughout the weekend. Despite a 1-2 record in pool play, they would make a run to the 15U semifinals on Sunday. The Outlawz would stun the top seed in bracket play in a double overtime thriller to move on to the semifinals. All three standouts brought something different to the table.
Devin Green – 2028 Athlete
We mentioned how the Outlawz would stun the top seed in double overtime to move on to the semifinals. 2028 athlete Devin Green would come up with multiple plays down the stretch that helped the team move on. That clutch gene was definitely present with Green and he backed up the hype this weekend. Green made plenty of catches throughout the weekend and he’s going to be a name to watch moving forward. As Green goes into high school this fall, the 2028 standout should be ready to produce at a high level. If this weekend in Pennsylvania was any indication, he won’t shy away from the bright lights.
Latravious Woods – 2028 Athlete
The other 2028 standout on this breakdown is also from Florida along with Green. Latravious Woods might have been their best player on both sides of the ball from start to finish this weekend. Woods was outstanding on the offensive side of the ball. He made big catches in big moments and also had speed to out-race just about every defender on the field. Woods also turned around and played some strong defense at the cornerback position. Woods had a really good weekend and he’s going to be another name to look out for sooner rather than later. He played at a high level against good competition all weekend.
Lukas Prock Lukas Prock 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Wellesley | 2027 State New E – 2027 Quarterback
There’s no doubt that Green and Woods were outstanding this weekend but they needed a quarterback to get them the ball. That’s where 2027 signal caller Lukas Prock Lukas Prock 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Wellesley | 2027 State New E came in. We told you before the tournament that Prock was coming into the tournament as one of the top signal callers in New England’s 2027 class and he lived up to that hype. Prock was firing some absolute darts this weekend and his stock was elevated in a major way on Sunday when it was win or go home. Some of the throws that Prock made were very impressive and he fit them in tight windows to help his team survive and advance.
