KJ Chatham
KJ Chatham
Chatham proved to be a key piece of Lincoln’s Division 1-AA state championship team in his first year as starter. Some observations from seeing him live vs. Carlsbad in the SD Open-Division championship: the offense struggled to sustain drives, partly because of an injury to star RB Roderick Robinson, but Chatham’s ability to get the ball into the hands of their playmakers and produce timely, explosive plays in the passing game ultimately was the difference in that game. He’s consistently accurate in the short-intermediate area and excels at hitting receivers in stride and giving them a chance to make a play. He’s comfortable processing reads and throwing from the pocket but can pick up chunks of yards with his legs if needed. Chatham should wind up generating some interest after a stock-rising playoff run.
Cooper brings a unique combination of size, playmaking, and physicality as a QB/OLB at 6’3”/215. He’s a strong, physical ball-carrier as a runner and possesses the arm strength to push the ball downfield with little effort. He’s an active tackler on the front-seven that can seal edges and rush the passer as a DE and cover middle-zone effectively as an off-ball LB. With his physical upside, Cooper’s the type of player you get on the roster and find a spot for later. His offers include Army, Idaho St., UNLV, and a few HBCU and Ivy League schools.
Reggie Johnson
Reggie Johnson
Johnson was productive and efficient in his second full-season as a starter throwing for nearly 2,000 yards and 23 TDs. He’s a mobile passer that can move around the pocket and find receivers scrambling toward the numbers. He’s most accurate over the middle of the field and does a good job finding windows on in-breaking routes against zone coverage. Johnson just picked up a D-II offer from Black Hills St. in December.
Highlights
Fierro showed continued growth and development as a passer in his second full-season of football. He shows great feel for the pocket navigating to space, resetting his feet, and delivering under pressure. He drives the ball downfield off a balanced platform and shows developing mechanics. He can throw with accuracy to the intermediate-deep areas of the field and can fit the ball into tight windows over the middle. He’s quick and decisive with his reads and can stress the defense with his athleticism when plays break down. Fierro recorded over 2,300 passing yards with 28 TDs and 5 INTs as a senior.
Wojcik’s biggest strength on tape is his pocket presence and ability to evade the rush and extend plays. He’s composed in the pocket with light, active feet and constantly scans for open receivers. His physical strength and elusiveness as a ball-handler make him extremely difficult to sack or tackle in space. He can get the ball out on quick-hitting slants and can layer the ball over defenders in the red zone. Wojcik picked up an NAIA offer from McPherson in December.

Tsay capitalized on opportunities as starting QB for Maranatha Christian after transferring from Poway. He flashes noticeable arm talent/strength flicking the ball downfield with air and velocity while on the run. He shows mobility in the pocket evading the rush and can produce explosive plays downfield in scramble drills. Tsay accumulated over 3,400 total yards and 37 TDs (12 rushing) as a senior.
