-He passes the eye test right way. He walked in the Superdome and you could feel the eyes of onlookers shift towards him. Butler is a prospect that looks mean and plays even meaner
-What impressed me the most, was how well he moved. Coming into the camp, without ever seeing him play live, I had reservations about his quickness and straight-line speed. He sured up my reservations with a 5.1 in the forty and a 5.31 in the shuttle run
-A Linebacker I admittedly was on the fence about ahead of camp–and I couldn’t have been more wrong about it. He could have been the Linebacker MVP and I don’t think anyone would have batted an eye. He was impressive
-The only Pennsylvania prospect to earn a nod on the 1st Team, he did everything at an elite level. At 6-foot and 170-pounds he played with length, extension and explosion. Looks every bit the part of an Outside Linebacker that could step in and contribute early depending on where he goes to high school
-Plays exceptionally in space and can re-direct attacking angles with ease. Does a great job of getting parallel to the line of scrimmage when reading the play develop and then gets down hill quickly with an excellent jam to keep would-be blockers off of him
Highlights
-Essentially fresh off the plane from an event in Texas, Boggs was a prospect I was excited to see live and the South Jersey prospect did not disappoint with his performance
-Measured in at 5-foot-11 and 190-pounds and appeared to be significantly more muscular than and thicker than I anticipated. He really looked the part of a very good upcoming freshman Linebacker
-I always say how much I love Linebackers who also wrestle and Boggs fits this to the tee. Did a tremendous job of balancing playing aggressively, but also in control. Effortlessly changed his levels to attack the bag during blocking drills. Also showed pretty good speed and moved fluidly, as well
