This was the fourth camp we’ve had in Oklahoma and they continue to get bigger and better. Prep Redzone Oklahoma will have articles and breakdowns throughout the next several day putting a spotlight on some of the best performers and prospects that we got a chance to see throughout the afternoon. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more coverage from the Stock Up Showcase camp. In this post, it’s all about the shuttle run. I will be talking about the quickest shuttle run times that was recorded at the event.
Derek lockridge lll Derek lockridge lll 5’11” | 165 lbs | DB Owasso | 2024 OK is a defensive back and lit up the shuttle event. He came out of the gates with a time of 4.19, followed by 4.31. The 4.19 was the most out of anybody during the combine. The 5’9 defensive back out of Owasso can utilize his speed and ability to shift his body quickly to cover wide receivers effectively. This can help come up with interceptions and tackles.

Caden Knighten Caden Knighten 6’1″ | 180 lbs | RB Wynnewood | 2025 State OK has solid speed and shiftiness, which helps as a running back. He measured in at almost 5’11” and 196 pounds, so he has some size to go along with the speed. His two shuttle run times are 4.51 and then he had the fastest time out of all running backs at 4.21. He just finished his sophomore season and posted fair numbers as both quarterback and running back: 43/84 (51.2%) on passing attempts, accounting for 820 passing yards. He also had 9 passing touchdowns compared to 3 interceptions. As a running back, he had 210 carries for 2,278 rushing yards and 35 rushing touchdowns. He eclipsed 100 yards rushing in 11/12 games this season. On defense, he had 45 solo tackles and 12 assists, accounting for 57 total tackles. This dude can do everything and is dominant. There is a reason why he is receiving interest from colleges like OU, Oklahoma State, and SMU.
Malikai Miller Malikai Miller 5’11” | 170 lbs | QB Moore | 2025 State OK set the showcase on fire, both with drills and his performance in the 1 on 1. He was named the top quarterback at the showcase. In the shuttle drill, he showed off his ability to have speed and shiftiness by posting times of 4.41 and 4.43. He is in the class of 2025 and did not see the field too much this past season. He has talent and the intangibles to be great. That is why he is already ranked #100 in the state and #13 out of all quarterbacks for his class. He will be worth monitoring as he gets closer to his senior year and receives more opportunities.

Brayson Carter Brayson Carter 5’9″ | 155 lbs | ATH Blanchard | 2025 State OK showed off his speed and shiftiness. These two things are part of the reason why he is ranked #48 in the state and #8 out of all wide receivers in the class of 2025. He posted good times for the 40 yard dash and tied the fastest time in the shuttle run. His times were 4.19 and 4.43. As a sophomore this season, he had 13 carries for 29 yards and a touchdown. Where he made his bread and butter though is through the air, where he had 44 receptions for 659 yards and 6 touchdowns. He averaged 54.9 yards per game. He will be intriguing to watch moving forward.

Jared Kappenman Jared Kappenman 6’0″ | 205 lbs | LB Edmond North | 2025 State OK was the top linebacker in this drill, showing shiftiness to go with his 5’11” frame. His times were 4.6 and 4.44. The 4.44 was the quickest out of any linebacker at the event. This is one of those attributes that contributes to him being able to reach his ranking in his class: #51 in the state and #6 at his position. I could not find the stats for his performance this season, but it is hard to imagine that his shiftiness does not play a factor in his dominance on the field.

Khyier Beaty Khyier Beaty 5’10” | 190 lbs | TE Jenks | 2024 OK made the list for the 40 yard dash as the fastest time for offensive lineman. Now he is on the list again, this time for the shuttle run. His speed compared to all of the other offensive linemen at the event was not even comparable. In this drill, he recorded a 4.74 and 4.64 times. The 4.64 was way better than any other recording for an offensive lineman in this drill. His speed can help getting to the appropriate places to block when his team is running the ball and can make a difference in the game.
