The offseason is in full swing and that means there's a camp nearly every weekend. Although I'm a full time student and student athlete in the Grand Rapids area, I'll be doing my best to see some offseason competition, which is mostly in Southeast Michigan. So, this article will mainly feature players who are NOT from the west side of Michigan. So without anything else, in no particular order, here's the list!

[player_tooltip player_id='212358' first='Corey' last='Sadler'] | Cass Tech | 2026

Sadler is a priority watch. The consensus #1 player in the class of 2026, Sadler is an exceptionally rare breed. I'm a bit embarrassed to say I haven't seen Sadler or Cass Tech in person yet.

[player_tooltip player_id='318570' first='Marcello' last='Vitti'] | Divine Child | 2026

I've watched the film and I've seen countless endorsements. I know [player_tooltip player_id='318570' first='Marcello' last='Vitti'] is an outstanding athlete with an elite work ethic, but I have yet to watch his skillset play out in person. I'll be keeping an eye out for events he may be participating in.

[player_tooltip player_id='247645' first='Bobby' last='Kanka'] | Howell | 2025

Kanka is another player I've heard so much about but just haven't had an opportunity to see. He really stands out on the field with his imposing size and impressive strength. It's rare to see such an elite athlete attending Howell (Pinckney was prior school).

[player_tooltip player_id='77217' first='CJ' last='Carr'] & [player_tooltip player_id='188007' first='Dylan' last='Mesman'] | Saline | 2024

This is now the best QB/TE duo in the state and I've yet to see either of these guys play! Of course, [player_tooltip player_id='77217' first='CJ' last='Carr'] is one of the best QB prospects in the midwest while Mesman is an elite TE that keeps getting D1 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='253200' first='Kalieb' last='Osborne'] | Waterford Mott | 2024

I've been wanting to see Osborne for quite some time. He's one of the most explosive QBs in the sate and the best QB Mott has had in a very long time, maybe ever.

[player_tooltip player_id='162651' first='Semaj' last='Morgan'] | West Bloomfield | 2023

This offseason will be my last chance to see Semaj before he heads to Michigan. I feel that Semaj is by far the best WR in Michigan and maybe the midwest.
