Not only was the defensive line impressive with the amount of numbers they had in attendance, it was an incredibly talented group with tons of upside. This group was not easy to pick just a few names as they were all outstanding to be honest. While we wont get numbers specific on this post, I have to say watching all of the defensive lineman work together and support one another even though they are from separate schools across the state, was certainly a joy to witness:

MVP- Ivan Bailey-Green St. Joseph's Prep - This was a ferocious group of pass rushers and Greene was a one-man wrecking crew. The rising junior was virtually unblock able during the 1 on 1 sessions, lining up at Defensive tackle and end. Green has an explosive first step off the ball and a relentless motor who was a matchup nightmare all evening for the offensive lineman. What impressed me the most was how when everyone was exhausted by the end of the evening this young man wanted to keep going. I can only imagine what defensive coordinators see when they put on his game tape, watching him up close I would expect big time offers coming soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='558586' first='Parker' last='Funk'] Greencastle-Antrim- Another stud coming out of the class of 2024, Funk was very impressive on the evening. A powerful bull rusher who has a quick first step, Funk was a menace during the 1 on 1 period. Another defensive lineman who will be lined up everywhere for the Blue Devils defense, do not be surprised if he leads the conference in sacks this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='558530' first='Ryan' last='Hazlett'] Keystone Oaks- One of the strongest lineman there certainly was incredibly disruptive to his opposing offensive lineman all night. Hazlett is another bull rusher type who stands out on the field for his blocker awareness as well.

Kabenia Cudjoe Archbishop Carroll- A 2025 standout with huge potential has to have the Patriots coaching staff excited for this young man. Cudjoe is still raw but is coming along nicely, standing at 6'2 with good speed you can see the hype beginning for him.

[player_tooltip player_id='391547' first='Jake' last='Biery'] Northampton- Biery had himself an excellent evening, standing out in both the individual and team drills. A big powerful pass rusher, Biery is a very instinctive smart football player and you can see it also reflects in his school work. Posting a 4.2 GPA is nothing to be frowned upon, look for many FCS and Patriot League schools to court this young man services after next Fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='142027' first='Jayzen' last='Flint'] West Catholic Prep- Maybe the tallest kid at the showcase, standing at 6'4, Flint certainly has the upside to play at the next level. The rising junior also stood out for his performances flashing his speed in the 40 and the 1 on 1 drills. The Burrs have themselves a playmaker on their hands for 2023, Flint has the ability to single handily take over games at any moment.
