There are a few guys that we can introduce you all to this year. We are going to start out with some skilled positions, and then go on to the trenches. Let’s check it out.
Tyriq Green Tyriq Green WR GA – RB – 6’0″ 170 – Kell HS / @tyboogie_da1
Green consistently falls forward, and he will also bounce off of or shake loose from a couple of tackles to turn minimal gains into big runs. He’s a three-down back with monster potential in a one-cut system. He blends good size and speed, as well as the competitive demeanor of a playmaker.
Nate Russell Nate Russell 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Cartersville | 2026 GA – QB – 6’2″ 165 – Cartersville HS / @Nate_Russell_9
Russell overall ball placement is generally good for a freshman quarterback; capable of putting throws right on receivers even when throwing off his back foot. Consistently drops deep throws into the bucket. He can get some zip on throws as needed.
Peyton Zachary Peyton Zachary 5'8" | 160 lbs | WR Kell | 2026 State GA – WR – 5’6″ 150 – Kell HS / @peytonzachary4
Primarily lines up in the slot but does take quite a few snaps as a boundary receiver. Smooth accelerator with solid overall speed. Knows how to keep defenders off-balance by changing speeds when releasing at the line of scrimmage. Sinks his hips and adds window-dressing at the stem and was able to get separation on some deeper targets as a result of his route-running. Nice stop/start on whip/jerk and option routes often allows him to beat man coverage.
Jayden Hill – RB – 5’9″ 175 / @JaydenHill26
Hill only had 22 carries in 2022, but he showed good contact balance and the ability to make defenders miss in space; very nice jump cuts make him difficult to bring down in those 22 carries. He finishes runs by lowering the shoulder, driving his legs after contact, and falling forward. Hill has a bright future.
Jai Jackson – RB – 5’9″ 150 – Northside HS
Jackson only got a few opportunities his freshman campaign. With the opportunity he gotten, he displayed good patience and vision, with very quick feet to shuffle and find lanes between the tackles. Moves well through tight spaces to find yardage.
