Tate Hug Tate Hug 6'1" | 205 lbs | RB Auburn | 2023 NE | LB/ATH | Auburn | 6’1″ 190 lbs
I recently saw Tate compete at the PRZ Stock Up Showcase, where Tate won the LB MVP award. He was great in all phases of the camp with a good testing session, he looked solid in LB drills and had great reps in 1v1s. Tate is a very good athlete on the field and could play either LB or RB at the next level. Hug’s ability to cover a good chunk of the field had him in more of an OLB-free safety type of role. He tallied 57 total tackles, three tackles for loss, and forced a fumble on defense during his senior year. Even when he’s in the backend of the defense, he can shoot right up into the box when he reads run and can get great depth when he has to cover the deep zones. On offense, Tate rushed for 1,131 yards and 10 touchdowns in ten games. He is a very physical runner that keeps his pads low and knees chopping. He did most of his damage running downhill, maintaining great balance while absorbing contact. Lots of production and experience under Tate’s belt already!
Hyatt Collins Hyatt Collins 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Adams Central | 2023 State NE | RB/LB | Adams Central | 5’10” 195 lbs
Mr. Consistent for the Adams Central Patriots churned out another excellent rushing season. Senior Hyatt Collins Hyatt Collins 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Adams Central | 2023 State NE crossed the 1,000-yard mark with 1,148 rushing yards on 173 carries and scored a ridiculous 22 rushing touchdowns. What stands out about Hyatt is his vision and ability to anticipate running lanes. He explodes through the hole and can make quick cuts to weave through traffic. Once he sees daylight, he has great burst and acceleration to make it a footrace to the endzone. Collins can also catch out of the backfield and ended up with 15 receptions for 184 yards and two receiving touchdowns to add to his yardage totals. Hyatt was also a key contributor on defense with 28 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, two passes defended, and a forced fumble. Great value talent!
Daniel Judd Daniel Judd 6'4" | 210 lbs | TE Wayne | 2023 State NE | TE/DL | Wayne | 6’4″ 220 lbs
Talk about a player that you just need to get on the field in one form or another. TE/DL/ATH Daniel Judd Daniel Judd 6'4" | 210 lbs | TE Wayne | 2023 State NE is one of those great athletes that will produce no matter where you put him. Judd has a big, athletic frame at 6’4″ and 220 lbs but with a lot more wiggle to him than you would expect. Judd hauled in 29 receptions for 369 yards with four touchdowns and had 68 tackles and four tackles for loss on defense. You can play him at tight end, where he takes advantage of mismatches and is a reliable target over the middle of the field. He has great hands and uses his reach to make catches at the high point or outside of his frame. Daniel is also pretty solid after the catch and can fall forward to extra yardage. On defense, he can play defensive end or outside linebacker. Again, he uses his length and athleticism very well and could be a menace as an edge rusher. Judd is a prospect that has shown several flashes of being a great player, he just needs an opportunity to continue tapping into his potential.
Carsen Staehr Carsen Staehr 5'11" | 150 lbs | WR Aurora | 2023 State NE | WR/ATH | Aurora | 6’0″ 160 lbs
One of the many great athletes on the Huskies roster is receiver/defensive back Carsen Staehr Carsen Staehr 5'11" | 150 lbs | WR Aurora | 2023 State NE . Carsen improved on the numbers from his junior year and was able to haul in 39 receptions for 709 yards and five receiving touchdowns. Staehr’s speed gets somewhat overlooked, but he can remind you quickly of how good he is at getting behind the defense. When you watch his tape, you also notice his route running and how crisp he is coming in and out of his breaks. Carsen isn’t necessarily a big receiver, but he plays much bigger than his size with how he fights for extra yardage after the catch. Staehr is receiving looks as a track recruit, but I think he has the potential to do either or both if he wanted to.
