Ironton
Landen Wilson, DB – Landen is a stud of a football player. Returns kicks, plays SS, and is a force at CB. He is big, fast, and aggressive. He has great technique and patient backpedal. He reads plays well and triggers quickly in the run game. He is a great tackler and takes pride in it. He has good hips and wiggle and stays on top of deep routes. He transitions quickly downhill on underneath throws. He plays through the hands of the receivers and jumps routes when he has an opportunity too. Deserving of a good look on film.
Watkins Memorial
Tommy Ischy, WR/DB – Tommy is an outstanding athlete. He carries a 3.7 GPA in the classroom and uses his intelligence on the field as well. He is a fast, physical, and has good hips. He reads plays well and triggers quickly in the run game. Makes good tackles on the LOS. He stays deeper than the deepest at Safety. He plays the route in phase and through the hands of the receiver. He breaks quickly on underneath routes and makes plays on the ball. Not afraid to jump a route and make a play.
Piqua
Brennan Johns, DE – Brennan is a high motor player with good size but room to grow. He fires off the ball like a rocket and gets to lockout quickly. Reads blocks well and adjusts his technique. He gets in his gap and stays there. He rips off well to the ball and runs hard with leverage on ball away. He pass rushes well and is relentless back to the QB. He finishes plays and makes game changers when he has the opportunity. Has offers on the table but is looking for a home.
Kipp Columbus
Ryan Stewart, OL/DL – Ryan is an intelligent football player and leader. He has good size and leverage. He plays Center on offense and commands the schemes. He has a good snap and punch with violence. He keeps his feet moving at all times with a wide base. He finishes blocks through the whistle. He gets on the LB’s quickly and sticks like glue. His pass posture is good with a great base and proper footwork. He doesn’t allow penetration on the inside. Has some offers on the table and looking for a home.
Taliby Kaba, OL – Taliby is a massive individual and plays with extreme aggression. Once he gets on the defenders they go to the ground. His drive block is his best and he runs his feet through defenders with a violent punch. He moves quick to the left and right and covers defenders up. His pass posture is correct with a proper base and violent punch. You can teach size and he certainly has that.
