The Prep Redzone Illinois Stock Up Showcase was held in Barrington on Thursday. We have a ton of coverage coming from the event. Here we examine the signal callers who shined in Stock Up Showcase: Top Quarterbacks!

Jacob Guiterrez (United Township – 2023)

Smaller QB at 5'9” that throws well on the run and has solid accuracy. Liked the demeanor he brought to the table playing with tenacity and leadership at the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='530042' first='Connor' last='Dennis'] (Boylan – 2024)

Really liked what we saw out of this junior. Excellent size and frame at 6'2”. Clean release with a powerful delivery. He showed good arm strength both on the short routes and dropped the deep ball right in.

[player_tooltip player_id='241121' first='Jackson' last='Alcorn'] (Burlington Central – 2025)

Came away impressed with what we saw out of the 6'1” QB. The ball absolutely exploded off his hand. He has precise footwork and a quick release. Everything looked so smooth. Baby faced sophomore has room to grow physically which will elevate his stock even more.

[player_tooltip player_id='299438' first='Kaleb' last='Sims'] (Simeon – 2025)

Sims is a thicker bodied quarterback that has a long release and a super strong arm. He has a ton of zip on his throws both on short routes and arms strength on the deep ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='252506' first='Patrick' last='Heneghan'] (New Trier – 2025)

Liked what we saw from this 5'10” young signal caller. Bit on the smaller side, but he has great footwork with a quick release and the ball comes well off his hand. Liked the accuracy we saw on a variety of routes.

[player_tooltip player_id='401596' first='Brady' last='Palmer'] (St. Francis – 2026)

It is quite an accomplishment when the QB MVP from a strong group was a freshman who has not played a varsity game. Palmer showed a ton of intriguing tools at a young age that project well long term. Good combination of physical tools and accuracy.

[player_tooltip player_id='537266' first='Shane' last='Coyle'] (Cary Grove – 2026)

Coyle was another 2026 to watch at the camp. The 6'2” signal caller has long and lanky frame which tended to result in a longer delivery. Needs to add some strength but plenty of time for that. Solid accuracy and touch on his passes.
