<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Redzone Illinois Stock Up Showcase was held in Barrington on Thursday.&nbsp; We have a ton of coverage coming from the event.&nbsp; Here we examine the signal callers who shined in <strong>Stock Up Showcase: Top Quarterbacks</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jacob Guiterrez (United Township – 2023)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smaller QB at 5'9” that throws well on the run and has solid accuracy.&nbsp; Liked the demeanor he brought to the table playing with tenacity and leadership at the position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='530042' first='Connor' last='Dennis'] (Boylan – 2024)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Really liked what we saw out of this junior.&nbsp; Excellent size and frame at 6'2”.&nbsp; Clean release with a powerful delivery.&nbsp; He showed good arm strength both on the short routes and dropped the deep ball right in.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='241121' first='Jackson' last='Alcorn'] (Burlington Central – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Came away impressed with what we saw out of the 6'1” QB.&nbsp; The ball absolutely exploded off his hand.&nbsp; He has precise footwork and a quick release.&nbsp; Everything looked so smooth.&nbsp; Baby faced sophomore has room to grow physically which will elevate his stock even more.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='299438' first='Kaleb' last='Sims'] (Simeon – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sims is a thicker bodied quarterback that has a long release and a super strong arm.&nbsp; He has a ton of zip on his throws both on short routes and arms strength on the deep ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='252506' first='Patrick' last='Heneghan'] (New Trier – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Liked what we saw from this 5'10” young signal caller.&nbsp; Bit on the smaller side, but he has great footwork with a quick release and the ball comes well off his hand.&nbsp; Liked the accuracy we saw on a variety of routes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='401596' first='Brady' last='Palmer'] (St. Francis – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is quite an accomplishment when the QB MVP from a strong group was a freshman who has not played a varsity game.&nbsp; Palmer showed a ton of intriguing tools at a young age that project well long term.&nbsp; Good combination of physical tools and accuracy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='537266' first='Shane' last='Coyle'] (Cary Grove – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coyle was another 2026 to watch at the camp.&nbsp; The 6'2” signal caller has long and lanky frame which tended to result in a longer delivery.&nbsp; Needs to add some strength but plenty of time for that.&nbsp; Solid accuracy and touch on his passes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
