Palmer has some big shoes to fill next season, as he will replace the number 1 quarterback in the Class of 2024 in Illinois and St. Francis starter Alessio Milivojevic (Michigan State). Good size, solid arm strength on his shorter/intermediate throws, and elusive around the pocket, Palmer can extend plays and hurt defenses with his legs if he doesn’t like what he sees downfield. Also shows off solid anticipation and does a good job of reading the field quickly and not forcing the ball into tight coverage or risky situations. He’ll look to add to that long list of accolades as a sophomore and into his upperclassman campaign with St. Francis.
