Brayden Hatcher, DE, 2023 – Brayden is a very good football player and led the team in sacks this season. He is a big player with presence on the edge. He has a great coiled stance and comes off the snap low and hard. His punch is powerful and he reads blocks well. He has good block destruction technique and maintains gap integrity. His pass rush is relentless and he uses his long arms to get separation and bends well back to the QB. His motor never stops when on the field. He deserves a good look on film.
Pickerington North
Navadn Smith, OL, 2023 – He is a very good OL and very aggressive. Gets off the ball with a flat back and wide base. His drive blocks have a violent punch with great finish. He keeps his feet moving through the defender and had many pancake blocks this season. He pulls very well and gets to the second level very quickly. He latches onto LB’s and sticks like glue. His pass blocking the inside is very stout with good technique. He keeps his feet chopping and doesn’t give up much ground. Always is aggressive and plays with a mean streak.
Findlay
Dallas De La Cruz, RB, 2023 – Very good RB in NW Ohio. He has great patience to the hole with good burst through it. He runs hard and is tough to tackle. He is a great zone runner with vision. Gets downhill on Power and runs over defenders. He is smart and athletic enough to split out and play some slot receiver. He has soft hands and runs good MOF routes. Impressive football player with tremendous upside going forward.
Canton GlenOak
Jaiden Thomas, OL/DL, 2023 – Jaiden is a force on both sides of the ball. He has good size and athleticism. On offense he plays a variety of line positions. He has good technique and aggression with a violent punch and active feet. His lateral movement is quick and he covers up defenders. He drive blocks well with good up and through of the defender. On defense he plays DE and reads plays well. Gets to extension quickly with a fast shed. He rushes the passer relentlessly and never gives up on the plays. Sets a good edge and it is tough to run at him. Deserves a good look on film.
Northwest
Connor Lintz, Ath, 2024 – Connor is a great football player at a variety of skills positions on offense and defense. He had many good visits this past season and should garner interest in the offseason. On offense primarily plays receiver but aligns in multiple positions to get him the ball. He can score from anywhere. He attacks the ball in the air and runs really good routes to space. He runs the jet sweep and is a good running back with the ball behind the LOS. On defense plays in the backfield at Safety. He has good technique and a patient backpedal. Good hips when the pass declares and flips them quickly. Stays on top of routes well. Had some really nice interceptions this year because of his good ball skills. Great film to watch.
