Jason Walter, LS/Short Snapper, 2023 – Jason is a very talented long and short snapper. He has a great coiled stance with proper technique and hand placement. His snaps get back to the punter on average at 1.7 seconds. He has good spin and velocity on the ball. He is athletic and gets down the field very quickly. Tackles well in space and can make plays on muffed punt returns. Certainly worth a good look on film as a specialist.
Pickerington North
Ivan Ermlich, K/P, 2023 – Ivan is one of the best K/P’s in Ohio. He attends the Kohl Kicking Academy and is highly ranked. He handles all the kicking and has a really big leg. His punts get off quickly both conventional and rugby style. He has good height on the ball and consistently hits 45-53 yards of distance. His kickoffs routinely go into the endzone and he has the ability to make the specialty kicks. His FG’s are timely with good height and distance. Can’t miss prospect in the 2023 class.
Ontario (Mansfield, Ohio)
Bralen “Kobe” Boone, DE/OL, 2023 – Bralen is a beast of an edge player. He stands 6’2 and weighs in at 220. He looks like he has room to grow even bigger with great athleticism to boot. He was the best defensive player on the team and was named 3rd team All Ohio. He is very twitchy and comes off the snap low and hard with violent hand placement. His motor is always running and he runs hard to the ball. He reads blocks well and gets extension in his gap. His edge rush is always half a man and he has a couple of developed pass rush moves. Can’t go wrong with him as an athlete.
Ashland
Jonathan Metzger, WR, 2023 – Jon is an absolute stud. He led the team with 67 receptions, 1312 yards, and 13 TD’s. He is tall, fast, and physical. He has advanced technique in his route running and attacks the ball with his hands and eyes in the air. He has really good top end snap in his routes and can get the tough yards after the catch. He is a matchup nightmare and the offense runs through him. Currently committed to Hillsdale. Special talent deserving of a long hard look.
Bishop Fenwick
Vincent Giordano, DE/TE, 2025 – Vincent is a sophomore and already stands 6’4 and weighs 245 pounds. He is an absolute nightmare to block and comes off the snap low and hard. He makes plays from the edge which change the game. He reads blocks well and maintains gap integrity the proper way. He has violent hands and gets to extension well. His edge rush is really advanced and he bends well back to the QB. Most impressive part of his game is his motor. He never stops and is relentless to the ball. He is already on the radar of all the MAC schools and will garner a lot of interest this offseason.
