In Georgia's 7A Championship matchup, Carrollton, and Mill Creek will be facing off to see who is worthy to take home the title of State Champs, as well as the notoriety, and hardware that comes with it. In this game, there will be plenty of star players on both sidelines, making for a seemingly exciting game on the horizon. Likely, a majority of these players will be key contributors to big plays, and the flashy appearances you would expect of a game this caliber.

[player_tooltip player_id='34015' first='Caleb' last='Downs'] (S)- Mill Creek

While there is not a shadow of a doubt that Downs is the best player in the state, he is also arguably one of the best prospects in the entire country as well. Downs has not only led the team's defense, but he has set the championship tone that Mill Creek plays with each game on the offensive side of the ball as well. This season, he has accounted for 21 total TD's, and has also contributed with 66 total tackles, and 5 interceptions to this point of the season. Look for him to be a huge factor in this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='327232' first='Hayden' last='Clark'] (QB)- Mill Creek

As the leader of the offense, Clark has been a huge factor in his team's success, and his stats speak for themselves. This season alone, Clark has passed for 2,000 yards, 21 TD's, and has averaged around 153 yards a game. In addition to this, he has also proven to lead his team with efficiency, as he only has 1 recorded interception to this point of the season.

Cameron Robinson (RB)- Mill Creek

Robinson, who is a 2024 prospect, has been playing out of his mind, and has been another key piece to his team's success this season. He has averaged around 111.5 yards a game, and has offered the kind of balance to the running game that any team would dream of having. Just like Downs, Robinson has also contributed with 21 TD's this year, and has also rushed for over 1,400 yards. Expect him to be a factor for his team in this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='326288' first='Jamal' last='Anderson'] (LB)- Mill Creek

Anderson, who is a very dynamic prospect, plays both ways for his team, and has had an impact for his team in effortless ways. This season, he has made a total of 52 tackles, with 30 of them being solos, and he has also averaged around 4 tackles a game, with 3 sacks. With this, he has also contributed to turnovers, and caused fumbles, making him a offensive player's nightmare.

[player_tooltip player_id='206164' first='Julian' last='Lewis'] (QB)- Carrollton

Even though the defense for Carrollton has been stout all season long, perhaps the biggest reason Carrollton is in the mix, and has made it past teams like Colquitt County, is due to their star QB, [player_tooltip player_id='206164' first='Julian' last='Lewis'], who is most definitely one of the top prospects in the nation for his class. This season, he has played with a high level of efficiency, and production, as he has thrown for around 3,587 yards, and 43 TD's. With this, he has also averaged around 256.2 yards a game, and has only thrown 10 interceptions. Look for him to continue to show out as one of the nation's top up and coming players.

[player_tooltip player_id='335441' first='Bryce' last='Hicks'] (RB)- Carrollton

As you could expect, Hicks has been instrumental to adding an efficient running game, which has taken the load off of Lewis plenty of times. This season, he has rushed for over 1,500 yards, and has also averaged around 112 yards a game. This type of efficiency and production also has resulted in his 30 total TD's this year, making him one of the most lethal players going into this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='321435' first='Caleb' last='Odom'] (WR)- Carrollton

In the passing game, Odom has been instrumental in his team's 14-0 record, and versatile offensive attack. This season, he alone has racked up 954 receiving yards, and an average of 16.7 yards a catch, with an additional average of 73.4 yards a game. In this championship matchup, look for him to be an ideal weapon for Lewis, as he has also racked up a total of 12 TD's this year.

Takare Lipscomb (WR)- Carrollton

Lipscomb, who has been a huge part of the passing game as well, is also a young star, and has shown this by the 8 TD's he has scored this season. With this, he has also totaled 716 yards receiving, and has averaged around 51 yards a game.
