Teams and athletes from all over the country earned their way to play for an AYF National title in Kissimmee, Florida. Here’s a look at some of the class of 2027 Offensive Linemen prospects from the East that stood out to me with what I saw on the field.
Demarcus Forsythe
Demarcus Forsythe
I was quite surprised to hear this was his first year of playing tackle football considering his size and him starting as a Left Tackle. At 6-foot-2 and 270-pounds he’s a big kid, but needs to work on his feet. Would love to see a mean streak developed too. However, for being brand new to tackle football, the potential is crazy.
Xavier Comacho
Xavier Comacho
One of the four captains on the 13U Bayside All-Star team based out of Maryland and for good reason. Was a consistent plus as a Center, Defensive Tackle and Long Snapper. Did a good job as the leader of the Offensive Line that allowed their big playmakers to do what they do.
In my eyes Williams was the most dominant lineman on both sides of the ball for the 13U Duval Jaguars. While his main position is absolutely a Defensive Tackle at this point, he opened up a lot of holes for a high-powered Jags offense. With his size and ability, he looks like he can play multiple positions across the Offensive Line with Guard being the most natural.
Thick, compact earth move that suited up for the West Philly 13U team ay AYF Nationals. Strong at the point of contact and does a good job as a run blocker. Told me he’s unsure on a high school destination yet but is starting to see acceptance letters to some of the greater Philadelphia-area’s top private schools.
Joseph Diver Jr.

One of the biggest personalities I came across while at AYF Nationals, Diver Jr. earned his second of back-to-back AYF All-Star national titles. He played Center for the team and was one of driving forces for a hard hat and lunch pail group up front, that was clearly the difference all week long. Diver played with a veteran confidence and it showed up on the scoreboard.
Carter Smith
Carter Smith
An absolute bad dude that I’d want walking with me in a dark alley. A punisher at Offensive Guard, when Smith isn’t forcefully moving guys out of the way on the football field, he’s also an accomplished powerlifter boasting bests of over a 400-pound squat, over 400-pound dead lift and 225-pounds bench press. He’s one giant muscle at this point and is well on his way to a successful post-youth ball athletic career.
Another one of the New Jersey 14U All-Star big hogmollies up front that quite literally paved the way to an AYF National title. In my opinion, Key has the most upside of any of the Offensive Linemen that New Jersey had up front based off his current size, frame and potential. Played the bulk of his snaps, if not all of them, at the always-crucial Left Tackle spot.
A regular season teammate of Carter Smith above, Ramirez is another product of the Southern AYF program, that also produced super talented All-Everything 2026 prospect Najee Calhoun Najee Calhoun 5’11” | 180 lbs | RB Bergen Catholic | 2026 State NJ , last year. Ramirez held down the other Guard spot on the All-Star team down there and was a big reason they bullied their way into having a well-balanced offensive attack.
David Theriault-Lago
David Theriault-Lago
The only New Hampshire All-Star team Offensive Lineman with any real size, Theriault-Lago showed some good things in the time I got to watch him warm up and play. Played Left Tackle for the boys from The Granite State and did a fairly nice job executing blocks. In my opinion, for the long run he needs to move inside to the Guard or maybe even Center position, to show his full ability.
Standing 6-foot-2 and 280-pounds, Ramirez is a big kid an passes the eye test right away. With obvious size and weight he’s one of those young Offensive Line prospects that carries his weight very well, meaning he doesn’t look like he weighs as much as he does. Being this big and this young, has some obvious coordination and footwork things to correct, but he has some great potential. Comes with a natural mean-streak, too.
D’Zyon Coates
D’Zyon Coates
Not necessarily the most talented Offensive Lineman I saw at AYF Nationals in the class of 2027, but could be my favorite I watched. Every movement on the field was done with intent and purpose, backed with a tough guy attitude. One of the more athletic Offensive Linemen I saw at nationals, I don’t know what position he ultimately ends up at, but he’s a kid that teammates rally around and listen to. Checked a lot of boxes as a leader.
