Who are they? Let’s take a look…
Elijah Griffin Elijah Griffin 6'5" | 270 lbs | DL Savannah Christian | 2025 State GA – Savannah Christian Prep
If you saw Griffin play in person last year, it’s hard to wrap your mind around the fact that he was just a sophomore. A dominant defensive end with plenty of size already at 6-foot-4 270-pounds, Griffin played like a man among boys last year, getting after thee quarterback with ease and bullying opposing linemen all season long. He looks the part physically, but his quickness off thee ball and ability to deliver a big hit on the ball-carrier makes him an easy 5-star candidate sooner than later. He’s big, strong, fast, and consistently flashes with eye-opening plays. Just a sophomore, Griffin looked like a seasoned veteran, reading plays, reacting quickly, and making everything he does look easy. He’s a candidate to be the top-ranked player in Georgia for the 2025 class when it’s all said and done. In the fall of 2022, the elite defender made 30 TFLs, 14.5 sacks and 14 QB hurries. Expect him to be one of the nation’s top 2025 defenders heading into his junior season next year.
Elyiss Williams Elyiss Williams 6'8" | 220 lbs | TE Camden County | 2025 State GA – Charlton County
An explosive pass-rusher off the edge and one of the scariest defenders in all of South Georgia, Willliams is a long, athletic defender who can get to the quarterback with ease. Just a sophomore, Williams is a two-way star for Charlton County who can reel in passes on offense and fly past opposing offensive tackles on defense thanks to his raw athleticism and long 6-foot-6 225-pound frame. He’s lean, explosive, and too much for most tackles in the area to handle. He has a great motor, and when he gets to the ball-carrier, he’s going to leave a bruise. His film is jaw-dropping at times the way he can just manhandle offensive lineman thee way he does. He still needs to develop and work on his craft, but it’s easy to se the 5-star potential he has. He already looks like a nationally-ranked prospect and should end up being one of the best EDGE prospects, not only in Georgia, but across the country in the 2025 class.
Justus Terry Justus Terry 6'5" | 270 lbs | DL Manchester | 2025 State GA – Manchester
A physical freak already at 6-foot-5 265-pounds with a body-builder frame, Terry already looks like he could suit up for most college football programs. He sure doesn’t look like a sophomore, and neither does his film from the 2022 season. Terry was a bully in the middle of Manchester’s defensive line all season long, shredding blocks with ease and making play after play in the backfield. He’s incredibly quick off the ball for his size and can blow up any particular play if not double-teamed. He’s tough to knock backwards, making him tough to handle for anyone in one-on-one situations. He looks like a 5-star and played like one during his sophomore season. He can play on the edge at the next level in certain situations, but his toughness, quickness, and ability to create havoc in the middle makes him an easy 5-star candidate at defensive tackle. He already holds impressive D1 offers and he may have them all at some point in the off-season. There are plenty of talented DL prospects in Georgia for the 2025 class, and Terry is easily one of thee best.
