As an 8th grader, he led the Warriors to victory with 342 yards and four touchdowns in arguably the most competitive classification in Alabama. With a maturity to his game that's way beyond years, Seaborn showed complete confidence and command within the offense. With a quick release and decisive decision-making, he allowed his playmakers to make plays with velocity and accuracy in the short pass game. In addition, Seaborn showed functional arm strength when working between the numbers in the intermediate region of the field. It'll be exciting to see how far Seaborn can lead the Warriors. It will definitely affect the national recruiting circuit if he continues his impressive play through the tournament.

https://twitter.com/MaxPreps/status/1588764012577427456?s=20&t=H5w4VS_ygC1y4jpnPiui9A

Floyd was quietly one of the best offensive players in the state, regardless of class. The Hewitt Trussville QB shredded the opposing defense through the air and ground. Floyd showed exceptional touch and ball placement in the intermediate game while exposing the gaps in the defense. This accuracy made him efficient in the red zone, where he cashed in on most of his opportunities. With solid athleticism, Floyd was able to avoid the rush, keep plays alive, throw dimes off-platform, and be a threat with his legs and rush for first downs when the play collapsed. If Floyd can continue this play, it's no doubt his recruitment will spike, and he could put himself in the conversation as an elite QB within the state.

Johnson was among the most electric prospects we observed in the playoff opener. With instant speed out of his stance, he was used all over the field as a scoring threat and mismatch to whoever he lined up against. Though Johnson has elite burst and straight-line speed, his ability to maintain his speed out of his cuts makes him dangerous in the open field. The jukes, stutter steps, and spin moves were all made at full speed and kept defenders grasping for air as Johnson hit his head on the goalpost. As the 7A playoff continues, Johnson is one of the biggest x-factors in the area and could play a significant role in who holds the trophy in a couple of weeks.

Blackmon's 254-yard performance was the focal point in Dothan's first-round victory. As an incredibly shifty ball carrier, Blackmon constantly switched gears/ speeds in the open field to throw off defenders in the open area and make guys miss consistently. In addition, Blackmon is highly elusive and knows how to manipulate defenders and create lanes to expose, which is rare in young players. He also has enough strength to break arm tackles and get through the line of scrimmage to build steam when he gets to the second level. If Blackmon's production continues, look for him to play his way into some offers!

Here are some guys playing their best ball at the most important time of the year.
