Jefferson has done something quite impressive in their limited time so far in the AAA conference and that is making its way to the mountain top and winning the South Dakota Football AAA Championship in just their second year of existence, something that other teams have struggled to do in the past years. They have been a dominating force all year and that did not change once it was time to enter the playoffs and be ready to win games, where they stepped up and beat teams with their overpowering ability on both sides of the ball. But as we know, players have to leave at the end of the year and we will be looking at some losses along with seeing what they can do to keep up in the football world. So, let's take a deeper dive into the Cavs' team and see what they will look like next year.

Jefferson was defined this year by their tough defense that they always had trotted out on the field and the Run 'n Gun Offense that was able to score at will and use its excellent rushing ability to generate yards. A big part of that is from a few seniors that they will be losing in [player_tooltip player_id='56545' first='Taylen' last='Ashley'], their star QB who was able to make sure their offensive output was at the best that it could be with his rushing ability and throwing power that he has. Add on [player_tooltip player_id='101181' first='Griffin' last='Wilde'], a top-ranked wideout, who was a key part for them and their Top RB in [player_tooltip player_id='56567' first='Nelson' last='Wright'], and without all of them next year the offense will look for new players to step up. [player_tooltip player_id='289602' first='Evan' last='Haug'] and Sam Glesiah, a WR and RB that have shown high levels of explosiveness and the ability to break away from defenders to always be open, regardless of who is on them. The offense will be tough without some of its top players coming back but with the footing that they had this year, they will be able to complete with the high levels of defense that they showed all year.

The most obvious piece that they will be losing is their top Safety duo that has been the No Fly Zone of South Dakota so far, and without them there, the defense will have to adapt. [player_tooltip player_id='273643' first='London' last='Kolb'] and [player_tooltip player_id='89291' first='Beau' last='Giblin'] were players that were not only great on the field but also off the field with the leadership in the locker room and ability to inspire their defensive identity into a tough and cohesive unit that does not fault under any circumstances. But defense is arguably where they have even more college-ready talent that plays so well every single game and has shown humility along with a sense of coachability that should make them wanted by any team. [player_tooltip player_id='289599' first='Dashawn' last='Rohlik'] and Owen Ward are who stand out to me right away as highly touted players who show high levels of maturing along with talent, they are on my list of players who are going to make a big impact next year and will be fitting in at places where Jefferson will be losing key players, Their defense has some deep talent and it will be great to see them work like they did this year.
