RECRUITING UPDATE: New Late Season Offers Extended

They also have a freshman athlete on board who is already making waves in the recruiting world. An athletic wide receiver and dependable down-field threat, Carter made made a big impact as a freshman for one of the top teams in the state. The 5-foot-11 170-pounds receiver runs a great route for his age and has the speed to get behind the defense. He shows strong hands, the potential to be a promising route-runner, and plenty of speed for his age. He's fundamentally sound, closes well on receivers, and knows how to make a play on the ball. He shows reliable hands for a defender, especially someone playing in just their second high school season. He's a promising receiver who showed he can lock down receivers on an island. He's also a strong tackler and can help there in the run game as well. He's dominated this year as a junior and only scratching the surface of his potential. He shows good feet, balance, and plays well in space. He's easy to run behind and can take opposing defenders out of the play on a consistent basis. An elite defensive back with length, ball skills toughness, and excellent feet, he's someone who can run, hit, and rarely finds himself out of position. Just a sophomore, he's proven this year that he's one of the top cornerback prospects across the state. He looks the part and has the film to back up all of the impressive offers that he already holds. It's still early in his high school career, but Gilbert is already committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes. After a giant sophomore regular season, Gilbert has now earned an offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs. He's a guy with easy 5-star potential and should continue to earn major offers on a consistent basis over the next several months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='329330' first='TJ' last='Harvison'] - RB - Bowdon</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A versatile back with explosiveness, Harrison is a game-changing back who showed this season that he can score any time he has the ball. A physical runner with quickness, Harrison does a great job of eluding defenders down the field and can out-run most defenders if they don't take the right angle. He shows good hands out of the backfield and was one of the most productive backs in the area all season long. The senior rushed 114 times this season for 1,095 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also added 10 catches for 238 yards and two more scores.
