That being said there are talented young men on both teams and we’re here to cover a few that caught my eye. Without further ado, let’s dive into the Sterling prospects to know.

Mr. Ryan works as a QB as well as a linebacker on defense. On offense, he can pull the ball down to scramble as he weaves in/out of defenders to keep the chains moving and isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder when doing to to play through contact. This young man does have foot quicks to him which is showcased both when he’s scrambling and in one instance on a receiver screen. Here, he got vertical quickly once he secured the catch and broke a long run for a big gain. Switching over to defense, he can close quickly between the tackles to meet the ball carrier in the hole for no to little gain and does a good job disengaging blocks to secure the tackle in the hole. This is an overall athlete to get on your radar as currently he’s uncommitted. He most recently picked up an offer from Upper Iowa University earlier this month. Twitter
Highlights
Mr. Tablante is a young man that came onto my radar last season and I was excited to see during a live contest. This young man did flash his ability to keep feet driving through contact by breaking weak grab tackles to stay ahead of the sticks. He also flashes his pass protection to pick up the rushing defensive end and blitzing linebacker to keep the pocket clean for his QB. He also plays defense as a walked up outside linebacker which he flashes his potential there as well. His performance here was an anomaly in terms of his dominance that he has, turn on his full season highlights and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Most recently picked up an offer from Western Illinois University back in June. Twitter
Mr. Austin caught my eye as a high potential caliber prospect that could possibly end up at the D1 level having such a good frame standing at 6’7 235. This young man was already on my radar heading into this fall season and was able to showcase why he’s one of the top TE’s for his class. He’s utilized more as a traditional run blocking tight end that can wash the defensive line down and block in-line to create running lanes for the ball carrier to hit. Historically, this young man has flashes being able to slip on play action shots to the flat securing underneath routes for a solid gain as well. Be on the lookout for this young man as his potential is off the roof, could be a steal for a program. Currently holds no offers but does have some interest from the FBS level. Twitter
Highlights
Christian Beasley
Christian Beasley
Mr. Beasley is a defensive end working out of a 7 tech that had a solid performance this past Saturday. This young man is an edge rusher that can beat the offensive tackle to the turn point forcing the QB to either take the sack or generate QB pressure. He does so by getting out of his stance quickly and dipping to sink under the offensive tackle at the turn point. In terms of run support, he had a solid showing being able to disengage blocks to secure tackles near the line of scrimmage for minimal gain as well flashing his ability to plug the B gap for no gain. He also plays offensive tackle as well flashing his potential there. Currently holds no offers. Twitter
Mr. Muhammad is a transfer from Plainfield East and works as a defensive tackle which is where he flashes his ability in run support. Here, this young man was able to shoot through the A gap to blow up a QB design run for a tackle for loss in one play. He also flashed his ability as a 2 gap defender at times to keep his linebacker’s free to flow to the ball. Twitter
