Marysville vs Dublin Coffman – O Report

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Great game last night between two great programs on the northwest side of Columbus. Marysville came out on top in the end 28 - 24. Detailed below are some of the top offensive recruits for both teams.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Marysville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='315453' first='Brady' last='Seger']</strong>, QB, 2023 - Brady is very athletic and commands the offense. Marysville bases out of the Wing T but his athleticism and cannon for an arm make him a great candidate to play QB in college with the right coaching and time. He puts great spin on the ball and is accurate. He is very good at throwing the seam over the LB's and before the Safeties. Puts the ball over the shoulder on the sideline. When he runs the ball it is very RB like and he runs behind his pads but also knows when to get down. He has room to fill out his frame but is naturally strong and it shows on the field. At LB he is patient inside the box and always plays the correct gap. On outside run has the speed to run the backs down on the LOS. He is a great blitzer with a good rip move and bends well back to the QB. He tackles well in space and keeps his head up with good hip drive. At FB is a battering ram. They play a Wing T offense and he is the focal point. Carries the ball high and tight. He has good vision and burst to daylight. Gets on the secondary very quickly and accelerates well. He is tough to tackle. He blocks well at the point of attack and gets great coverage on outside run with his athleticism. He runs off the ball with a good base and powerful punch. He runs good MOF routes and has a good sense of spacing. Attacks the ball with his hands and accelerates down the field. He is very athletic and runs away from defenders. He makes great plays with his legs and can score everytime he touches the ball. He has good size and can see clearly through the mud. He has a live arm and really spins it. He is very accurate and can make all the throws. His mechanics are sounds inside and outside the pocket. He is a good athlete with the ability to make people miss in the open field. He is big, fast, and physical. He runs behind his pads and delivers blows when needed. He is a zone runner with good vision and burst. He is very athletic with good wiggle. He carries the ball high and tight and is a tough tackle. He blocks well for a younger player and has soft hands out of the backfield. Had a good game on Friday night and has the makings of a top receiver in Central Ohio next season. He has good technique and explodes off the snap. He gets open in the voids and is athletic enough to make the tough catch. He is a long strider and very fast. He pulls away on the second level and bursts for scores. He is a good route runner and attacks the ball with his hands.
