I’ve wanted to watch both Cass Tech and A&T play for a while, and I’m always envious of those near Detroit that get to watch these teams. With that being said, here are four players I’ll have my eye on this Saturday!
ATH | Corey Sadler Corey Sadler 5'10" | 170 lbs | ATH Cass Tech | 2026 State MI | Cass Tech | 2026
Sadler is the #1 recruit in the class of 2026, and I can’t wait to witness what I’ve been hearing for over a year now. Sadler caught the attention of many scouts around the country in the past year, including our own director of national scouting. He was a recurring name on Prep Redzone Next, and I’m immensely excited to finally see Sadler in person. His regular-season and playoff performances have been some of the best I’ve ever seen for a freshman, and overall his agility and IQ are off the charts.
DB | Alex Graham Alex Graham 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Cass Tech | 2025 MI | Cass Tech | 2025
Graham and Sadler are just two of many young Cass Tech stars I can’t wait to see. Graham, in particular, is currently ranked #3 in our 2025 class and came up with two interceptions in Cass Tech’s upset win over West Bloomfield last week. Graham has some of the best DB skills in the state, and he’s only a sophomore.
DL | Jalen Thompson Jalen Thompson 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Cass Tech | 2023 State MI | Cass Tech | 2023
Here’s a guy I’ve been wanting to see since I started at Prep Redzone. Thompson is one of our freak athletes in Michigan, and any college program in the country would love to have him. I only saw a handful of the top 2022 recruits in person, but the ones I did see had a “holy crap” sensation while watching them in person. When I saw Joshua Burnham last year, he stood out a mile away. I’m expecting the same for Thompson, and I expect his name to be called plenty of times, as he’s one of the best High School players in the country.
QB | Isaiah Marshall Isaiah Marshall 6'0" | 210 lbs | QB Southfield A&T | 2024 State MI | Southfield A&T | 2024
Marshall has had an absolutely spectacular season, being one of the Mr. Football frontrunners. Time and time again, Marshall has proved his ranking and more, being the best playmaker in the state. Every week I see a new highlight of Marshall, and every week it seems to be more absurd. There are many recruits from A&T that I’m extremely excited to watch, but Marshall is easily my #1. I’m hoping for a huge performance by Marshall.
