I have long held that Minnesota is one of the most underrated states for high school sports. Recently we've broken into the mainstream in some sports like basketball and wrestling—notably #2 overall NBA draft pick Chet Holmgren and Olympic and NCAA wrestling champion Gable Steveson. Football, however, is still drastically underlooked. This senior QB class is no exception. There are 12 unoffered or uncommitted senior QBs in the highest class in Minnesota football. Let me give these guys some hype before this season ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='19021' first='Nick' last='Fazi']: Eden Prairie 6'1" 180 lbs

Fazi, who leads a dominant EP squad through week 6, is a heavily underrated college prospect. In an extremely run-heavy offense, Fazi makes the most out of every opportunity he gets to pass the rock. He has great poise in the pocket and is very accurate. He has a quick release and shows the ability to step up in the pocket to avoid pressure. He can put some air under the ball when need to and is comfortable throwing on the run. With good ball placement, fairly good mobility in the pocket, and a very efficient passer, Fazi should be all over college watchlists.

[player_tooltip player_id='348634' first='Keagan' last='Zeidler']: Forest Lake 6'2" 180 lbs

Zeidler has burst onto the scene this year leading a dangerous Forest Lake squad that is 5-1 up to this point. The state-qualifying track star has proven himself more than a key part of the Rangers this year. Per his great speed, Zeidler is extremely mobile and has just over 360 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns up to this point in the season. Don't be fooled though, Zeidler is a legit passing threat as well. Zeidler has absolutely no problem throwing the ball downfield and has proven himself to be an incredibly efficient QB. Although he does not have a lot of recent film, his 4:1 TD/INT ratio and his 104.8 passer rating should be making colleges drool at this true dual-threat QB.

[player_tooltip player_id='309078' first='Jacob' last='Royse']: Lakeville South 5'10" 160 lbs

Royse has a very similar skillset to Fazi. He's a good athlete who throws the ball on a rope across the middle of the field. When he sets his feet he has good throw power and he has no problem taking a hit if it means allowing for more time for a receiver to open up. He excels at short passes and I'd be very curious to see how his game pans out in a more pass-heavy offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='112130' first='Luke' last='Crosby'] Prior Lake 6'1" 175 lbs

Another QB highlighted by his lightning-fast release, Crosby is at the helm of a very powerful Prior Lake offense. He shows good arm talent and strong mechanics as he throws lasers to his wideouts. Once again in a very run-heavy system, he hasn't gotten a true chance to shine in a more pass-heavy system. He has good pocket awareness and I think he'd make a fine addition to a lot of colleges.

[player_tooltip player_id='312950' first='Marcello' last='Getty']: Brainerd 6'3" 185 lbs

Getty is a multiple-year starter for the Warriors and just continues to impress. He is very comfortable extending plays with his legs and is fine with designed QB runs as well. His big frame makes him very tough to tackle, and in over half of his games this season he maintains a completion percentage of over 70%. His accuracy and ball placement should throw him on college's radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='279710' first='Gavin' last='Knutson']: White Bear Lake 6'2" 190 lbs

I cannot say enough good things about Knutson. This kid has had a breakout year and is going drastically underrecruited. Although it's his first year on varsity he plays with the poise of a longtime starter. He loves to sling the ball downfield and is about as accurate and efficient as you could be. He has good footwork and mechanics and boasts phenomenal throw power. He tears apart defenses and has great pocket awareness. He will extend plays on the run if need be but can throw on the run with no problem. One of my favorite MN prospects this year, Knutson has become a game changer and colleges need to pay more attention to him.

Colton Demaris: St. Michael Albertville 6'6" 205 lbs

You can't coach size and Demaris has it. The basketball player has helped lead the Knights to a 3-3 record at this point in the season. He does lack in film, but his stats speak numbers. Over 750 yards through 6 games and over a 58% completion percentage isn't something to scoff at. He hasn't had a game all year with under a 50% completion percentage and had a few over 60. He's fairly mobile for a bigger body and is overall fairly efficient. Coaches will be all over him, as his frame makes him an ideal candidate to mold into a future starter.

[player_tooltip player_id='313184' first='Sam' last='Berrey']: Park of Cottage Grove 6'3" 215 lbs

GUNSLINGER ALERT. Berrey has amassed one of the most impressive stat lines in MN and has gone completely under the radar. Through the 4 games, he's played this year, Berrey has thrown for over 1100 yards and 12 touchdowns. He loves to throw the ball deep and he is very comfortable in a collapsing pocket. He throws lofting deep balls constantly and still maintains good ball placement and a 57.9% completion percentage. He throws minimal interceptions and somehow always hits that tight window where only the wide receiver can catch it. Get my man some offers now.

Hayden Potratz: Osseo 6'5" 195 lbs

Another giant under center, Potratz has been heating up this year. In another run heavy scheme, the big man has found a way to maximize his abilities. He loves lofting deep balls to his receivers and has some darn good throw power. He's fairly accurate and near impossible to bring down. Shown the ability to scramble at times as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='112140' first='Finn' last='McElroy']: Edina 6'1" 205 lbs

GUNSLINGER ALERT 2.0! In 6 games McElroy has over 1200 yards and 5 TDs. Great throw power would be an understatement. 60 yards with the flick of his wrists down the field. A master at throwing the deep fade and very good at hitting crossing routes. McElroy hits tight windows that not a lot of QBs can make. A must watch for colleges.

[player_tooltip player_id='112154' first='Nick' last='Ruohonen']: Totino Grace 6'1" 180 lbs

Rouhonen is a dude. Very underrated and very good while throwing on the run, Ruohonen has still somehow slid under the radar. Rouhonen is fairly mobile with good pocket awareness and the confidence to throw into tight windows. He is excellent in play action and with intrest from some MIAC schools, I'm curious to see where he ends up.

[player_tooltip player_id='308602' first='Owen' last='Wark']: Mounds View 6'1" 165 lbs

Wark has had a very good season up to this point. Almost 70% completion on 153 pass attempts, Wark has been balling. Over 1000 yards and 8 TDs stamp out what has been a very successful 6 game stretch for the senior QB. Breaking down his film you see a very athletic and quick QB with a powerful arm. He stays calm in a collapsing pocket and has shown the ability to scramble if need be. His elusivity in the pocket is a big reason for his success behind an undersized O-line.
