Prospect/Unit Matchup to Watch:
Who will come out of this 5-2 and in prime position for the playoffs?
Much like the Mastery-West Philly game, this has a similar feel to it. Two young teams led by coaching staffs that have their respective programs headed in the right direction. The winner of this one will propel themselves into a 5-2 record, something that’s a bit uncommon in both programs’ recent history. Tavon Tucker is a new name to the site, he represents Palumbo. Does Father Judge have an answer for the SJP attack?
Since SJP completed their out-of-state schedule, they have torn up the Catholic League with 35-6 and 40-11 victories over Wood and LaSalle respectively. Father Judge will be up against the onslaught that is this Hawk attack. I just came away from watching AB Wood almost pull out a victory over Roman Catholic, so I won’t count Father Judge out in this one. FJ is talented where they need to be talented, yet SJP will have to play a hand in their own demise in this one.

Will Lansdale bounce back? Will B&P continue to build momentum? Meehan vs. B&P secondary.
Both programs are coming off somewhat surprising outcomes last week. One good, one bad. AB Ryan is talented, and they may have just gotten back on track against a talented Lansdale Catholic team. The loss puts LC at 5-2, the NG win for Bonner-Prendie also put them at five wins on the year. You have to give the Friar offense credit, they can attack a defense on the ground and through the air. A huge victory over Neumann-Goretti should have earned the Friars some respect.

Will the vaunted NG defense bounce back and hold CEC to minimal points?
Neumann-Goretti will host Conwell-Egan this weekend. A true toss-up, as both programs ooze talent from seemingly all positions. You can make the case that we don’t know which Eagle or Saint team will show up in this one. Neumann-Goretti boasts a respected coaching staff brimming with experience, as well as legitimate FBS talents all over the field. You can say the same, to a degree, for Conwell-Egan. CEC might have their chemistry down, coming off a 40-point victory always helps morale. Who will show up?
LaSalle College Prep (2-4) vs. Archbishop Wood (1-4)

Two top 100 prospects. Can Coatesville penetrate this DTW offensive line?
An outsider might consider these two programs to be on the decline. This couldn’t be further from the case in my invested opinion. Both La Salle and Wood are coming off brutal losses to the consensus top teams in the PCL, that being St. Joseph’s Prep and Roman Catholic. Brutal losses both came in different forms, with the Explorers being blown out of the contest, while the Vikings lost on the final play to Roman. Both programs look to find themselves against each other. A win is a win, both La Salle and AB Wood are desperate for one. A win here could help the cause of salvaging this Fall season.
