Yes, he's only a sophomore but he's been tearing it up showcasing his arm talent week in and week out. This is seen with being able to add a touch to all level throws (level 1, level 2, and level 3) and getting the ball out quickly at times. For the remainder of this fall season be sure to keep a close eye on how he performs as he still has untapped potential yet to come to the surface. It seems as if he continues to get better as the weeks go by. He's 100% going to see a rise in his ranking once the season is concluded. The stats you see below are just an example of what this young man is able to do. His ability to work both in platform and on the move without missing a beat stresses the opposing defense. If you give him room to run he'll pull the ball down to scramble, if you come down to take away the threat his legs pose he'll find his man downfield to keep the chains moving. Like I said previously, he's been a man on a mission showcasing why he should be in talks of being a top dual-threat QB in the state. The impact and dominance he's shown being at the helm of this offensive unit have been impressive. So much so that he's actually headed out to visit the University of Illinois on a Game Day Visit this upcoming weekend. His ability to get the ball out quickly puts opposing defenses in a bend as the 2nd level defenders have to bite down to respect the run on play-action shots. Once he sees those defenders biting down he lets it rip hitting his receivers in stride for either a big gain or for six. If his receivers are covered downfield and he sees an alley he has the foot quicks to pull the ball down to scramble to keep the chains moving.
