While Crystal Lake South suffered a tough loss in a high scoring game against Huntley, Casimino lit up the scoreboard all night. The senior signal caller posted 551 passing yards while throwing for 4 touchdowns. That is a Fox Valley Conference record, as the dual threat QB showed off his skills with both his arm and legs throughout the game. Casimino is putting together a monster season through 6 weeks and should continue that trend the rest of the way.

from Crystal Lake South High School dominated defenses through the air and on the ground. With him compiling over 3,000 yards of offense throughout the season, it is fair to say that he was a nightmare for defensive coordinators to prepare for. With Caden completing his passes at such a high clip, he proved that he was able to make good decisions on the field and wasn’t going for the big play if it wasn’t there. His tape showcased that he was able to make good decisions and place the ball perfectly on all parts of the field with a smooth release and great body control. On the ground, Caden was fearless with the ball in his hands when he ran between the tackles. From everything I saw from his junior campaign, it is clear that he will be an absolute force going into his senior year. The Fox Valley better watch out for the Crystal Lake South’s high-powered offense led by Caden, big things are coming.

Mr. Casimino is a young man that I had on the watchlist heading into this fall season and one that has continued to produce each week. It seems as if he continues to get better as the weeks go by. He’s 100% going to see a rise in his ranking once the season is concluded. The stats you see below are just an example of what this young man is able to do. His ability to work both in platform and on the move without missing a beat stresses the opposing defense. If you give him room to run he’ll pull the ball down to scramble, if you come down to take away the threat his legs pose he’ll find his man downfield to keep the chains moving. He’s a shorter QB standing at 5’11 but don’t let that shy you away from this young man. Twitter
