While Crystal Lake South suffered a tough loss in a high scoring game against Huntley, Casimino lit up the scoreboard all night. The senior signal caller posted 551 passing yards while throwing for 4 touchdowns. That is a Fox Valley Conference record, as the dual threat QB showed off his skills with both his arm and legs throughout the game. Casimino is putting together a monster season through 6 weeks and should continue that trend the rest of the way.
Highlights
Davis is a strong and powerful back who had a monster night in Friday’s win over Hinsdale South. The Downers Grove South tailback rushed for 151 yards and 3 touchdowns, often running over multiple defenders on his way to the end zone. Davis runs with a downhill and physical style. The 5’10, 200 lbs senior hits the hole with urgency and intends to run through anyone in his path. This rising senior is putting together a fantastic final campaign.
The St. Charles North Senior wide receiver is another talented weapon in the North Stars’ high powered offense. Hayes was a home run threat all night against St. Charles East, as he averaged 54 yards a reception and found the endzone twice. Hayes is a fluid route runner who possesses the ability to track the ball with ease. He is also a phenomenal blocker. As the North Stars make their push for a playoff spot, Hayes will surely be a key piece.
Highlights
The Lincoln-Way East defensive end anchored a unit for the Griffins that put out an impressive display against Lockport. LWE held Lockport to just 103 total yards of offense in their shutout victory, and O’Rourke was a big reason why. Not only did he dominate in the run game against the Porters, but the 6’5, 215 lbs junior posted 2 sacks as well. He is a big and physical end with plus athleticism. O’Rourke already holds multiple Power 5 offers and is sure to see more roll in over the next year.
Zach Rysavy
Zach Rysavy
Rysavy is a talented junior from Huntley. He had a big night that helped the Raiders defeat Crystal Lake South in a shout out. Rysavy had 2 interceptions and several pass break-ups at cornerback. He measures in at 6’1, 165 lbs and showcases natural football instincts and the ability to get in and out of breaks and drive on the ball. He also has fantastic ball skills, as he can get on top of routes and take the ball the other way. Heading into a big match up against Cary Grove, look for Rysavy to shine.
