Adebayo’s quick feet allowed him to cut outside for forty yards. On a sweep, he cut back for a first down. He makes excellent decisions with the ball, evidenced by another cutback on a sweep for a ten yard touchdown. The senior later made three cuts on the same run for twenty yards. A threat in the passing game, he made a catch down the middle for 35 yards on third and short. Then, he made a catch in the flat off a poorly thrown ball. Finally, he caught a pass down the middle of the field on fourth and long for a twenty five yard touchdown.

Corey Bohmert
Bohmert is an extremely agile runner. Early in the game, he made a cut at the line of scrimmage to turn a two yard gain into a seven yard gain. Sprinting around the corner, he literally dove over a tackler to pick up three additional yards. He made a tough inside run for a first down. He showed great patience and feet working his way through traffic in the running game and then again when he returned a kick to the 35 yard line.

Maxwell Sims
Sims was highly efficient with the ball. He only threw the ball thirteen times, but completed ten passes. He was especially effective outside the hash marks. However, inside the hashes, he completed his biggest throw of the game. On a fourth and fourteen, a perfectly thrown Sims’ ball resulted in a twenty five yard touchdown pass down the middle. He used play action to hit tight end Jordan Wold Jordan Wold 6’2″ | 220 lbs | TE St. Thomas Academy | 2023 State MN , on an out route for a first down. On third and short, late in the game, he used play action to complete a pass deep down the middle to Adebayo for 35 yards.
Brandt throws a nice deep ball. He consistently put the ball on target down the sidelines. He hit three passes of more than 40 yards right on the sidelines – usually perfectly thrown down the sidelines for fifty yards. He used his feet to keep a drive alive with a nice scramble to the outside for 15 yards. He finished up his night with one more sideline touchdown pass.

Dobbs caught a ball on the outside and got feet inbounds. He made another catch on the outside. He caught another out route on third and long and got upfield for a first down. He dropped to his knees to make yet another catch on an underthrown ball.
Michael Barry
Michael Barry
Barry was the primary recipient of Brandt’s passes. His speed down the sidelines got him behind the defense on all three of Brandt’s deep balls down the sidelines. He showed he is not just a deep threat with a catch on an out route where he had to keep his feet in bounds for a first down.
A spin move at the line of scrimmage helped him pick up positive yards. He scored on a two yard touchdown run. Then, his speed picked up thirty yards. The junior made a move at the line of scrimmage to make a man miss. Later, he showed his power when he pancaked a defensive back who tried to tackle him. His speed through the hole got him into and passed the secondary for a 47 yard touchdown.
Highlights
Late in the game, Borman made two game-sealing plays. He came across the field and over the top on a deep ball down the sidelines, making an interception. He read another deep ball down the sidelines a couple of possessions later. He came across the top in almost a replay of his previous interception to make his second interception.

Jeff Cragg
Pressure by teammate JC Farrell led to a Cragg sack. Cragg later made a pair of tackles on the inside for short losses.
Wold was critical in the Cadets’ running game. His seal blocks allowed multiple runners a clean corner. In the running game, he moved a guy five yards down the field, paving the way for a touchdown. On the other side of the field, Cooper Clinton was just as effective blocking for the running game. In one of his best moments, he moved his man five yards off the line of scrimmage, opening a hole for his running back.
