Clarkston started this game of with the ball and as you could have guessed… #34 was getting his touches… Senior RB, [player_tooltip player_id='243468' first='Ethan' last='Clark'] (Princeton Commit), capped of the first drive with an 18 yard TD run. It was the Lakers high octane offense turn to match points… and they did exactly that. Junior QB, [player_tooltip player_id='249012' first='Reqez' last='Nance'] found his go to WR, Semaj Morgan for a 43 yard TD… on his first pass of the evening!! Clarkston's second drive wasn't ideal for the Wolves, fumbling the ball and giving it back to WB on the 15 yard line. Nance found Senior RB, [player_tooltip player_id='243472' first='Kenneth' last='Jones'] for a 15 yard pass to out the Lakers up 14-7. Reqez was 2-2 58yd 2TD to start the game….

The Lakers started the second half with the ball and that offense was hungry for more… The first drive was capped off with a 1 yard TD run from, Grand Valley commit, [player_tooltip player_id='243472' first='Kenneth' last='Jones']. Clarkston's first drive of the 2nd half was cut short when Senior QB, Steven Kossak, threw an INT, giving the Lakers back the ball with great field position. The Laker's pulled a little trickery in the redzone…. [player_tooltip player_id='243472' first='Kenneth' last='Jones'] lined up at Wildcat QB…. handed the ball off to Morgan… who then threw the ball back to Jones for 6 from 5 yards out. Clarkston struggled again on their next drive, turning the ball over on downs. WB's Nance, threw a INT on the ensuing drive, giving the Wolves back the ball. Clarkston's Steven Kossak, lead the boys down the field on a great drive and capped it off with an 11 yard TD run.

The first WB drive of the final quarter ended with a turnover on down, giving a hungry Wolves offense another shot to find the endzone… and thats what they did. Kossak found himself crossing the goal line yet again, from 2 yards out to narrow the gap 35-27… the clock just wasn't on their side. The Lakers just had to take a couple knees, and thats all she wrote.
