The last week of the non-region schedule is here in York and Lancaster Counties. Most teams are taking the week off to heal up and sharpen up before the action heats up next Friday night. But this week is important for a few teams who are looking for their first win of the season, while others are trying to build momentum for the second phase of the season.

Parkwood (Union County, NC) (2-3) at 4A No. 7 Indian Land (4-0)

Myles Stinson (pictured above) will be a guy you want to watch as Indian Land comes out of their bye week on Friday. He has been a main cog in the Warriors' run-first attack. Expect [player_tooltip player_id='340396' first='Jaxon' last='Scheidt'] to be a factor in the quick passing game and make plays on the run. Timir Hickman Collins and Damian Hernandez should be fun to watch on the defensive line.

Wisdom Holmes and Cam Enos will lead the offense for Parkwood out of Union County, and they can score some points, like the 42 they scored in a loss to Providence, which will create a challenge for the Warrior defense that has not allowed more than 8 points in a game so far this season.

Boiling Springs (2-3) at Clover (1-3)

Boiling Springs coach Matt Reel and the Bulldogs pulled off a mild upset of Greer last Friday night, and will look to keep the momentum going in western York County this week. [player_tooltip player_id='1012707' first='Lincoln' last='Huskey'] and wide receiver Zy Landrum had a great connection and they'll look to stay in rhythm. Cooper Zohner and Omari Davis will look to disrupt Huskey defensively. Dion Brown is an absolute cheat code at wide receiver for the Blue Eagles (i.e. last week) and he should be a vertical down field threat.

York (3-1) at Fort Mill (0-4)

If you like old school, grind it out, and run the ball, this may be the matchup for you. York's [player_tooltip player_id='208367' first='Ayden' last='Davis'] and Javarus Gutherie are the two main threats in the run game for the Cougars, and they'll take their chances down field later. Jonathan Tobias had an interception two weeks ago against Clover, and he'll probably be playing more down in the box against Isaiah Haynes and a Fort Mill offense accompanied by [player_tooltip player_id='421255' first='Jason' last='Moran'], who wants to spread you out and run it.

Richland Northeast (1-3) at Nation Ford (0-4)

Nation Ford is coming off a BYE week and they are in desperate need of a win before the rigors of Region 4-5A kick into high gear next week. [player_tooltip player_id='91150' first='Carson' last='Black'] is looking to find a rhythm with his receivers and found it in a loss against Northwestern with [player_tooltip player_id='1575429' first='Josh' last='Ameo'] and Daheem Knowles. But can they get stops defensively to win.

Richland Northeast has been struggling after beating Crestwood in Week Zero. [player_tooltip player_id='272698' first='Will' last='Wilson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1142696' first='James' last='Willingham'] are two guys to watch offensively while Jaquan Clark and Samson Sione will be the guys to watch defensively.
