Week five had all four of the top teams in the state playing each other, and while week six may not have the same level of marque matchups, the games could be even better. We have multiple top 10 or borderline top 10 games in what should be another thrilling Friday night under the lights.

American Fork vs. Corner Canyon
The Caveman are coming off their first loss of the season at the hands of the Bingham Miners. The Charges also dropped a game last week, suffering an upset against the Lehi Pioneers. Both teams are no doubt looking to get back on the winning path after losing very winnable games. One of the year's first significant region 4 battles looks primed to be a good one. Quarterback Issac Wilson could be in for a big game as American Fork receiver [player_tooltip player_id='406879' first='Trey' last='Roberts'] and the Cavemen offense will attempt to control the skies.

West Jordan vs. Riverton
Both the Jaguars and Silverwolves have a shot at the Region 3 crown. Riverton fell to Pleasant Grove last Friday while West Jordan had a bye. The Jaguars have looked strong in their three wins, all of which have come by more than double figures. Riverton has an impressive win over Springville but also a disappointing loss to Dixie, which has them at 3-2. It should be a fun quarterback battle between Jake Myers for the Silverwolves and quarterback Dameon Crosby of the Jaguars.

Pleasant Grove vs. Lone Peak
In another high-profile region 4 showdown, Pleasant Grove has been a pleasant, no pun intended, surprise this season as they sit at 4-1 with impressive wins over Riverton and Orem. The Knights may have lost week one to the Timpview Thunderbirds but have cleaned up nicely vs. out-of-state opponents, going 3-0 since that first loss. The Vikings and Knights both have tough defense making this one a fun challenge for stars like Pleasant Grove quarterback Nic Staffieri and the Knights wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='406889' first='Cole' last='Christensen'].

Bountiful vs. Bonneville
The Lakers are 5-0, but the Redhawks have proven capable of playing with anyone in 5A. Bountiful nearly beat Springville and then did knock off Skyline. Bonneville survived a challenging game against Viewmount and had won their last three games by at least 18 points. Look for Lakers quarterback Jaxon Johnson and Redhawks linebacker Brigham Morrison to stand out on the field.
