Continue ReadingWe are officially past the halfway point of the Wisconsin HS football season! This have been very exciting the first five weeks. We have seen huge individual performances, dominant team performances, clutch plays, upsets, and so much more. Today, I want to take a look back at Week 5 and breakdown 9 individual performances that really caught my eye with their numbers, and their highlights. There is representation from the senior, junior, and sophomore level, as well as athletes who play QB, RB, WR, and OL. Let’s get into this talented group!
Stats: 19 Carries, 76 Yards, 2 TDs, 1 Reception, 39 Yards, 1 TDrnThe 5’8″ 150 lbs sophomore RB has carved a solid workload this season for Pardeeville. He has amassed nearly 400 yards of total offense along with 6 total TDs.
After watching through the highlights from Week 5 it is clear that Bradley is working himself into the type of athlete who can make an impact at the next level as a change of pace or third down back. He thrives out in space, and it positions where he can use his burst and quickness. Between the tackles Jacobson has multiple examples this week of his ability to burst through tight running lanes before they close. Outside the tackles, Bradley has the speed to maximize the green grass in front of him. The athletic traits have also made him a 30.3 yards per return punt returner. Keep an eye on Bradley the next few years. With continued hard work he could be a complete game changer by his senior year.
Highlights
Stats: 20 Carries, 184 yards, 1 TDrnThe 5’10” 185 lbs junior toted the rock for his second 20+ carry game this season. His 9.8 yards per carry was his highest of the season.
Alexander has next level speed with a reported 4.63 40 yard dash. That speed allowed him to make several big runs on Friday night. His speed is accentuated by strong instincts and vision. The cutback lanes, and running lanes he saw and got to impressed me on multiple plays from his highlights. Wraalstad didn’t just try to win with his athleticism, though. He is a patient runner who let his blocks get ahead of him and made so he could utilize them to gain as many yards as possible before contact. Impressive showing in Week 5 for the junior.
Highlights
Stats: 10/16, 165 Yards, 3 TDs, 2 Carries, 20 Yards, 1 TDrnThe senior QB has led his team to a dominant 5-0 record. He has quarterbacked them to 45 points per game, and only one of their 5 games have come down to a one possession difference.
The 5’10” 180 lbs senior QB might not jump off the page with his frame, but he does possess a strong athletic profile. He runs a reported 4.66 40 time, and it translates. John is a problem outside the pocket, and when he gets green grass the defense will suffer. As a passer, the senior relies on his quick release, spot on accuracy, and touch. Instead of forcing it through tight windows, John’s game focuses on putting the ball in spots where his guy can run underneath it or where only his guy can go get it. Perugini is worth a look as an ATH at minimum.
Aiden Tuinstra

Stats: 6 Receptions, 100+ yards, 1 TDrnAiden is a new athlete on my radar this season. The 6’2″ 185 lbs junior lines up primarily as a slot receiver on offense. That bigger frame makes him hard to cover over the middle. Several of his catches came over the middle where he was able to go over them with his large catch radius and reach. His concentration in traffic stood out on a couple of those receptions also as he brought it the ball despite multiple hands in the way. I’ll be interested to see where he debuts in the rankings after the season.
Danny Lodl
Danny Lodl
Stats: 15/21, 360 Yards, 5 TDsrnHave a day Danny! What a stat line for the 6′ 175 lbs senior QB. Danny has improved every week of the season, and this was definitely his best week.
Lodl was fearlessly attacking down the field last Friday night. He has a solid arm in terms fo strength. Danny could get it 20+ yards downfield on a rope while rolling to his left. That throw raised my eyebrows. Danny sees the field well, and is a smart player. Both traits got him out of trouble on different occasions, and instead created big plays. According to the stats, this is Danny’s first year as starter. He is raw, but I’ll be watching to see if he can continue to develop week to week.
Stats: 4 Receptions, 123 Yards, 3 TDsrnJonathan was about as efficient as you can ask for in Week 5. All season Jonathan has been the big play maker with his 18+ yards per reception average and team leading 8 TDs. The big plays were on full display this past week.
Vandewalle came into the season as one of the best pass catchers in the state. He has so much to offer that should excite the next level. The 6′ 170 lbs senior has something that we don’t often see. Highlights of his willingness, and effectiveness as a downfield blocker. Jonathan is great at sticking his block downfield, and giving his teammates room to work. As a receiver, Jonathan is a smooth route runner who can get out of his breaks at top speed, and uses head fakes effectively. His elusiveness downfield, paired with collegiate speed, makes Vandewalle a nightmare in space. Lastly, his ability to contort his body and high point the ball highlight one of his scores. He has firmly planted himself in the running for best receiver in the state.
Stats: 42 Carries, 235 Yards, 1 TDrnAndrew gave us the definition of a workhorse performance for a running back. That isn’t new to the 5’8″ 180 lbs senior. He has had at least 24 carries in every game this season, and helped lead New Richmond to a 4-1 record.
Andrew has elite track speed. He runs a 10.84 100M and a 4.54 40 yard dash. There is no question whether or not the track speed translates. Andrew flies on the field. His compact, strong frame is also very difficult to bring down. He has a low center of gravity, and good contact balance. His power allows him to make an impact between the tackles just as much as he does outside them. The instincts he has are evident too. He seems to always find the lane, whether its where it is supposed to be or across the formation for a cutback. Definitely one of the top athletes in the state.
Highlights
Stats: 27/45, 356 Yards, 3 TDsrnIn what looks to be a talented QB class in 2025, Wade has himself planted inside the Top 5 of the position. He also has his team at 3-2 with a two game win streak going.
The underclassman is already in year two as a starting varsity QB. The 6’1″ 185 lbs QB is a very accurate passer. He made throws between levels of defenders that you don’t often see at this level. That accuracy comes from quick feet that are connected to his eyes. He is light on his feet, and moves well inside the pocket. Lindahl has a great grasp of the offense, and that allows him to be decisive in his reads and targets. Wade continues to impress me just lie he did as a freshman. With continued development Wade will be a top target at the position when it’s time for his recruitment to kick off.
The 6’3″ 315 lbs athlete has gone from primarily playing defense to starting at guard his senior year. Based on the film he has this season, it was a great move. Jaden is already a Top 65 player. He looks even better at guard, and will most likely see a rise in the postseason rankings.
Jaden has great size and strength for the position. He also moves extremely well. Jaden can slide laterally to mirror IDL, and his ability to get to the second level looks next level ready. His burst out of his stance in those scenarios is next level. The hands are very heavy as well. Single punches put blitzers on the ground this week, and his strength allows him to sink his hips and stop bull rushers. I believe he is just scratching the surface of his potential as an OG. I’m excited for the rest of his senior season. I highly recommend checking out the tape.
