Preview: Pinnacle @ Liberty

Liberty's 50-0 win over Sunrise Mountain wasn't a big shocker, as Liberty has been competing their tail off against the states top programs in the open division playoffs the past few years, and has established themselves as a true 6A powerhouse. Pinnacle on the other hand definitely hasn't gotten the respect they deserve, but with a 43-6 blowout win over El Camino (CA), that needs to change. Liberty is legit and they are stacked all across the board, especially with a player like [player_tooltip player_id='42912' first='Mykeil' last='Gardner'] on the defensive front, and [player_tooltip player_id='115509' first='Navi' last='Bruzon'] is one of the most exciting dual-threat QB's to watch in AZ. Pinnacle is going to get one of their biggest tests of 2022, and this matchup could potentially be the difference maker later down the line when we start talking about open division playoffs vs 6A playoffs. [player_tooltip player_id='368975' first='Wyatt' last='Horton'] was money last week throwing for 231 yards and 3 TD's while adding 2 TD's on the ground. [player_tooltip player_id='42949' first='Duce' last='Robinson'] is a matchup nightmare and a top TE in the country and has continued to show it. I think the difference maker for Pinnacle has to be Horton. If he can deliver in this atmosphere, then not only will Pinnacle prove to everyone that they're legit, but Horton's stock could see a spark.
