Game Balls Week 2: Cincinnati

He is very elusive in the pocket as he does a good job of escaping the rush. He makes very good decisions and can deliver the ball accurately under pressure. Lebanon lost a close game to Milford 42-39 but Braden rushed for 289 yards on 29 carries and scored 3 touchdowns. He displays excellent vision as he quickly finds the open hole and shows quality burst as he gets through the hole quickly. He displays very good acceleration and play speed in the open field as he picks up significant yardage constantly and shows the ability to score on long touchdown runs. He is a reliable receiver in the passing game as well. He runs swing routes out of the backfield and shows solid hands as he makes the catch. In off man coverage, he uses his quality play speed and athletic ability to keep everything in front of him. He tracks the ball well in the air and shows elite ball skills with great hands as he comes away with the interception. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass and shows excellent closing speed in pursuit. He plays on the outside as an XWR. He is quick off the line and uses his very good athletic ability to get behind the CB in man coverage. He shows good hip fluidity as he breaks off his stem and tracks the ball well in the air.
