2022 Preseason Previews: Choate Rosemary Hall Upperclassmen
In this article:
Choate Rosemary Hall’s top prospect heading into this Fall season will be 3-star, Duke-commit, Vincent Drolet Vincent Drolet 6’5″ | 220 lbs | TE Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE . A giant tight-end prospect who is set to leave a lasting impression after his final year at CRH. It is a joy to watch this kid run in the open field, a glance and you’d think he’s a 6’0 180-pound wideout. Actual YAC-ability, while even providing good-enough stride to pose as a deep threat if CRH needs him to be. His physicality at the catch point, as well as at the tail end of runs, is what Duke fans are most excited about.
Highlights
Choate Rosemary Hall’s second top-50 prospect is Dartmouth-commit Harrison Keith Harrison Keith 6’1″ | 195 lbs | DB Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE , the tone-setter in the backend of the defense. With incredible downhill run support ability, Keith provides energy, laying hits to ball carriers that spark the defense. His run-pass diagnosis is top tier, as is his ability to set the edge when aligned inside the box. A trustworthy and reliable backend safety who earns his rank by also being quite the playmaker. Awareness and hands are a plus, allowing him to intercept inaccurate passes. Keith has some wiggle to him in the open field as well, it shows in wideout and punt return reps. Fun player.

Talking about tone-setters. How about these two tanks inside both trenches for Choate Rosemary Hall.
On the offensive side of the football, you have Michael Zack Michael Zack 6’4″ | OL Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE , a UPenn commit that can provide both guard and tackle reps at the next level. On the defensive side of the ball is Princeton commit Ral Nwogbo Ral Nwogbo 6’3″ | 245 lbs | DL Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE , an equally punishing and daunting presence inside. When you want to stay in title contention talks, you have to win in the trenches. Choate Rosemary Hall is in prime position to do so by deploying these two monsters. Both prospects provide alignment versatility, showing they have the experience to be kicked inside if need be.
The last two top-100 prospects representing CRH act as the weapons of the offense. Seth Sweitzer Seth Sweitzer 5’11” | WR Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE and Jon Marvan Jon Marvan 6’2″ | 220 lbs | RB Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE , both uncommitted at the moment, will be the driving force of the offense. The pair provide the most experience on a roster that has talented stashed away for classes on end. The system can trust Sweitzer to dominate in all areas of the field, as he has done in the past. D2’s and FCS schools are clamoring for position to land Sweitzer. Makes sense considering his abilities after the catch. Get this kid the ball and watch him make something out of nothing.
Jon Marvan Jon Marvan 6’2″ | 220 lbs | RB Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE , although providing a different skillset, is equally as important to the offense running smoothly. Marvan, who is also a stout linebacker, will provide an awesome blend of between-the-tackle toughness and acceleration in the open field. He’s 6’2, once the stride gets going, he can beat some angles in the secondary. Marvan is another prospect that many FCS teams are in-line to land.
Highlights
If somehow Marvan and Sweitzer aren’t enough throw in Brown commit Ben Taylor Ben Taylor 6’4″ | 230 lbs | TE Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE and his 6’4 frame at tight end. Add 6’2, Titus Heimuli Titus Heimuli 6’2″ | 175 lbs | WR Choate Rosemary Hall | 2023 State NewE and you’ve got three potential weapons standing over 6’2. The size isn’t the only glaring strong point, it’s what these kids can do with their size. Heimuli is still uncommitted yet holds an offer out of Georgetown University.
Highlights
With all this talent, you can make the case that Choate Rosemary Hall will only go as far as junior quarterback Nick Rubino Nick Rubino 6’2″ | 195 lbs | QB Choate Rosemary Hall | 2024 State NewE will take them. Rubino, who ranks as the third-best quarterback in his class, will have quite the roster to work with. Even if he didn’t have an arsenal of weapons, Rubino boasts enough accuracy, field vision, and fundamentals to make this offense flourish. Rubino, a reclass out of Florida, is special on the move. Whether it be improvisational or planned, Rubino has enough awareness to keep his eyes downfield to scan for potential targets. His skillset fits in nicely, although we hope he will get to do less running out of the pocket with the offensive line CRH has built. Excited to see this kid work.

Last but not least is a junior prospect whose tape landed him in the top 100. Talk about a pleasure to coach, Marcaccio is a talent that can provide equally punishing reps at both offensive and defensive lines. In terms of title aspirations, prospects like Marcaccio are crucial to the cause. The coaching staff is tasked with stationing this young man correctly while making sure his development stays on course, which it looks like it has. Yet on the other side of the spectrum, we hope to see Marcaccio maximize his potential this Fall, if he plays to the best of his capabilities, you could see an already scary line get even scarier.
