On the last day of the Elite 11 finals last week, the quarterbacks competed in 7on7 with some of the top players in the state.
Here were the players who earned All-Defensive team honors given by the coaches at the event.
MVP: Kodi Decambra, Bishop Gorman, NV
MVP: [player_tooltip player_id="205984" first="Joshua" last="Faulkner"], Western, CA
Faulkner is a talented junior at Western High who plays on the OC Elite passing tournament team and can hang with anyone. Western is a lower level program in Orange County, but Faulkner was able to hang with Trinity League players and had a great showing at the Elite 11 as well. He is one of the top junior defensive backs in Southern California.

CB: [player_tooltip player_id="190273" first="Jordan" last="Shaw"], St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, CA
CB: [player_tooltip player_id="190271" first="Rodrick" last="Pleasant"], Serra, CA
Pleasant is the fastest player in the state and can cover any receiver in the state. He ran a 10.14 wind legal 100m earlier this spring and also had a good showing at the St. John Bosco passing tournament two days later.

CB: [player_tooltip player_id="115432" first="Marcelles" last="Williams"], St. John Bosco, CA
Williams was one of the MVPs of the Under Armour Next All-American camp in Marchand his confidence stood out. He would get a deflection and then run over to the scouts and say "watch this next rep" and get another deflection. He is fluid moving from his back pedal and can stay in the pocket of most receivers. He is part of a loaded Bosco secondary and he has the versatility to play all over the field.

CB: [player_tooltip player_id="115428" first="Khristian" last="Dunbar-Hawkins"], St. John Bosco, CA
CB: [player_tooltip player_id="261780" first="Jojo" last="Wash"], Etiwanda, CA
S: [player_tooltip player_id="145213" first="Corey" last="Johnson"], Bishop Amat, CA
S: [player_tooltip player_id="282700" first="Daryus" last="Dixson"], Mater Dei, CA
Dixson is a sophomore defensive back at Mater Dei who should see some extended playing time this season despite his age. He got rave reviews at the St. John Bosco passing tournament two days after the Elite 11 and the Mater Dei staff is very high on him.

LB: [player_tooltip player_id="184158" first="Dylan" last="Williams"], Long Beach Poly, CA
Williams is a very athletic linebacker who is committed to USC. He is lengthy and impressed me with his pass coverage skills at the Under Armour Next All-American camp in March. He is even better when the pads come on and I am excited to see him at the Mission Viejo passing tournament soon.
LB: [player_tooltip player_id="145235" first="Jerry" last="Mixon"], Sacred Heart Cathedral, CA
LB: [player_tooltip player_id="147742" first="Shakir" last="Collins"], Adelanto, CA
LB: [player_tooltip player_id="145201" first="Victory" last="Johnson"], Cathedral Catholic, CA
Johnson is a big linebacker who knows how to use his body to reroute receivers and break up passes. He is one of the more physically impressive linebackers in his class and is arguably the best linebacker in San Diego. He took an official visit to Washington recently.
