We have another Glenpool lineman that stood out at camp who is in the 2025 class, [player_tooltip player_id='391028' first='Switzer' last='McGeeley']. The Warrior's had 2 linemen who had an exceptional day at the Beeline camp on Saturday last week. It was quick when McGeeley made his presence felt in the run game. as he came off the ball and was quick getting his hips under him. He plays with good leverage and his feet consistently are moving. First couple of reps in the run game he dominated his 1 on 1 block where he played physical with his opponent and drove him off the ball. He also went over to the defensive side of the ball and showed he could play on either side. He uses his hands to gain separation and plays with good technique.

Yet again, we have another Warrior but this time he is on the defensive side of the ball. In the class of 2026, we have [player_tooltip player_id='1179991' first='Tajh' last='Overton'] who has a great frame for being young. He liked to play physical and get off blocks quickly. He has long arms which helped him gain separation and showed some explosiveness coming off the ball. Overton looked good in his pass rush as he competed with some upperclassmen and had success. Once he came off the ball, he mainly bull rushed his man but always had something else in his arsenal to use. It's going to be exciting to watch Overton grow over the years with him just becoming a freshman.

Koreon Williams – 2024 OL – Booker T. Washington

Williams is a transfer from Central to Booker T. Washington for this upcoming football season. Williams has a good central base that allows him to be strong when he attacks his defender. You don't see much lunging out of him which helps to not overextend himself. One thing I would like to see Williams keep working on is his kick step in the passing protection. He would barely move his feet when he came out of his stance to get ready to engage with his defender. Williams is strong and shows good footwork, especially in the run game. He has a great offensive line coach in Coach Braxton, which will help Williams as he moves further in his Junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="376277" first="Ryan" last="Wells"] – 2024 OL/DL – Verdigris

Wells played on both sides of the ball at camp but started on the defensive line for the beginning. For playing interior line, he is quick off the ball and plays with a good base. Wells played out at defensive end and interior play in both run and pass game. He had a good edge rush out at defensive end where he blew by the tackle and stayed tight to the tackle's hip. On the offensive side of the ball, Wells plays with a solid base and has good leverage where he likes to play physical. Throughout the off-season, we can see he has been working on his explosion movements from the different camps he has been attending. One thing Wells needs to work on is not overextending himself and keeping his hips under his frame.

[player_tooltip player_id="154212" first="Ace" last="Hodges"] -2024 DL – Casady

Hodges has come up a couple of times over the offseason with playing offensive line and defensive line. Saturday, Hodges played defensive line and we saw some good things from him that he has been working on. In the pass rush session, he added more than just a bull rush to his tools. Hodges has a good frame which looks like he has grown a little since the last time we saw him. He has been working on his hand placement and movements up front. A couple of times he used his hands to attack the offensive lineman by swiping them inside or out to get his hands off of him. As Hodges keeps working with his hands and movement, we will see more from him on the defensive line from the progression side.
