Yesterday, we kicked off the process of evaluating some of the top quarterback prospects in the Northwest portion of Indiana. Today, we roll on. Breaking down some more elite QBs from the region ahead of what could be huge seasons from them. Quentin Falls, 6’1, 2024, Calumet New Tech https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/quentin-falls/X65Ry9NsEeuAzqREozo6lw/default.htm Dual-threat right-hander Quentin Falls can make plays and keep the offense moving. Falls possesses great mobility. Falls is accurate, and he consistently hits his target. When he becomes a junior in the fall, Falls will be looking to build upon a season that saw him pass for 843 yards while going 30/85. He tossed 11 touchdown passes and six interceptions. Falls provided 104 rushing yards and a trio of rushing touchdowns last year. Aldric Harper, 5’11, 160 pounds, 2023, North Judson-San Pierre https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/aldric-harper/hbVktcjZEemAzfp8ouYFiw/videos.htm Aldric Harper had a productive junior season. Now as a senior, he will be looking for even bigger things. The North Judson-San Pierre quarterback completed 54 of his 135 pass attempts for 951 yards. Harper threw 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2021. He carried the ball 121 times for 491 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Harper brings his contributions over to the defensive side of the ball as well. As a junior, he picked off two passes, forced one fumble and returned one interception for a touchdown. [player_tooltip player_id="109611" first="Lucas" last="Plummer"], 6’0, 2024, LaVille In just his sophomore season, [player_tooltip player_id="109611" first="Lucas" last="Plummer"] showed plenty of promise. In 2022, he will be a prospect to watch closely as he looks to build off of last season’s performance. He went 46/110 for 624 yards with seven touchdowns. Plummer protected the football by only throwing a pair of interceptions. He had 122 carries for 459 yards and eight touchdown scampers. Plummer impacts the game defensively, as well. He posted 29 tackles last year with two tackles-for-loss. Plummer tacked on one interception, two passes defensed and one pick six. Cole Shively, 6’1, 160 pounds, 2024, Triton Last year, Cole Shively laid the foundation for the next two season of his high school career. Shively can find ways to pick up yardage, both with his arm as well as his legs. In 2021, Shively threw for 40/92 for 432 yards. Shively threw five touchdowns and five interceptions. He carried the ball 87 times for 156 rushing yards and an additional score. Shively is another solid two-way prospect. He tallied 48 tackles last year with two tackles-for-loss and one interception. There is a lot to like about Cole Shively’s game. This year will be a big one for him. Bryce Lasane, 2024, Mishawaka Marian https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/bryce-lasane/ajNpO6w8EeqAzqREozo6lw/videos.htm Right-handed passer Bryce Lasane marshals the Mishawaka Marian offense. Lasane has a good arm, and he uses it to test the opposing safeties. Lasane can throw a good deep ball, requiring the defensive backfield to be on their toes for a potential shot play. Lasane is an accurate quarterback. He does a good job of finding the throwing windows and putting the ball right where it needs to be. Lasane can test the defense over the top, but he also challenges the underneath coverage. Lasane can get the ball to the receivers running underneath and allow them to make a play. Last year, Lasane completed 118 of the 232 passes that he threw. Lasane racked up 1,813 passing yards to go along with 19 touchdowns, nine interceptions and one rushing touchdown. [player_tooltip player_id="185242" first="Brady" last="Krueper"], 6’1, 195 pounds, 2023, Elkhart https://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/brady-krueper/jgoJcee4EeqAzqREozo6lw/videos.htm [player_tooltip player_id="185242" first="Brady" last="Krueper"] is a right-handed quarterback with great arm talent. Krueper is excellent with throws down the field. He can drive the ball and put the throw out there for the receiver. Krueper moves well in the pocket. He steps up in the pocket or laterally to evade pass rushers. Krueper accumulated 1,349 passing yards, during the 2021 campaign. Krueper threw seven touchdowns and seven interceptions, a year ago.
